I too have suffered this horrible faith.

Well this is new variation of fail... note to CCP: If it isn't tested - it's broken.


For customers:
Before running the client directly try running the repair.exe first - you get into a file access issue trying to update while the client is running.

For what's it worth, I had a similar problem on the mac client, right after DT.

I multibox 3 accounts. The 'primary' one would not log in, the 2nd and 3rd would. I rebooted my router and all 3 got in.

No idea if this will help anyone.

Oddly i've had 2 different launchers, and i managed to get to the login screen however i had to accept the EULA again, and it said something about not correct protocol, and had no server status.

The first launcher, is much like the old one, with 'EvE online' on the left top corner, a graphic of a space cloud (anomaly?) and a box on the right, with all the "info" saying its offline mode, and tranquility server: Status unknown with no button to press

The second launcher, had a different background with a lot more flash type stuff, as it was active and had a "login" part on the left side (i didn't have to press launch or anything, there was somewhere to log in on it directly), with stuff about odessey coming out on 4th june, as well as news feed on the right hand side, and a "link to buddy system invite" in the bottom left hand corner.

So which launcher is the new launcher? and is there any link to an update from CCP or have they not said anything about it yet?
