Level 4 agents in stations w/o repair facilities

Don't make the same mistake as me and gain standings for a corp that doesn't have repair facilities in the same station that the Level 4 agent resides.

Only wasted about 3 hours so no big deal but this is a bit dumb.

Approx in every other mission my drones take damage and so I need to repair them frequently. To have to dock in a new station just to do a 1000 isk repair is tedious and impedes on the ISK / hr so as to make those agents not viable.

Not sure if CCP has thought it through.

Just a headsup to you guys as something to consider when choosing an agent :-(

In that circumstance, make sure you keep a small remote armor repper, as well as appropriately sized local armor reppers for your mission ship(s) in the station. If you need to repair your armor or the drones' armor, just refit, undock, launch drones if needed, and repair. You can keep a remote hull repper if you want, though drones that take hull damage don't usually survive in my experience. And if your ship takes hull damage, you're better off flying to a station with repair services to pay to get it fixed; it'll be faster than using a hull repper.

PVP is a question with no single right answer, but a lot of wrong ones.

Well, yes, obviously I can do that as well but it's even slower than warping to a nearby station to pay for the repairs.

The point is I don't want to do neither method cos it's boring and tedious.

So because you didn't look to see if there was a repair facility, it's CCP's fault?

Buy extras. Swap out the damaged ones. Then once a day/week haule them over for repair.

Or watch your aggro. I fly a drone boat and almost never have drones that take enough damage to need repairs.

This is the simplest solution.

Another option, if you're flying a ship with atleast a bit of room for drones to spare, is to toss a couple light armor repair drones in your hanger. Then have then repair the damaged drones while you slowboat to the next gate. Salvaging alts with a small RR or two work well too.

Keep on micromanaging your drone repairs, guys (you probably actually enjoy it, lol).

The purpose of the thread was to give advise on a property to look out for when choosing an agent but if repairing drones is such fun then, hell, deliberately choose an agent that doesn't have repair facilities. Oooo, the challenge, can you rise to it.

I have since found another agent that has repair facilities in the station. Cntr - A, right click repair, repair all, lose 1000isk, far more fun!

I think what we are saying is there are many other ways. I happen to use a LVL 4 agent in a station with no repair facilities and it hasn't been an issue. For that matter I don't get my drones shot up pretty much ever.

Even if I needed repair services the next station over has repair facilities. It takes all of 45 seconds to dock there, repair, undock and be back on my way. So I don't understand how you were wasting hours anyhow.

There are many factors that go into choosing a mission base. If I'm purposefully trying to raise standing with a given corporation, then I'm looking for a station where I'm also going to get storyline missions from an agent of the same corporation. At least twice, this has forced me to base out of a station with no repair facilites. If working for payment, I'd run in a .5 system with no repair service over a .9 system that had it. We're not saying you should ignore it, but there are ways around the problem.
