Mining ships too overpowered

CCP really needs to divert their attention to nerfing mining ships.

Why should a non combat ship have drones.

How can an industrial ship justify resists.

By combat fitting an industrial ship, it spoils the game for many people, making it difficult to interact with some players.

Industrial ships need balancing asap.

If it needs support, that's what fleets are for, bring out a logistic ship.

If it mines only, then it should mine only, at the moment, a Hulk is stronger than many cruisers, how is this balanced?

Nerf the non combat ships back into balance.

Getting you on your feet.

So you've further to fall.

5/10

premise was good, technique was flawed.
But overall, not bad. With practice you may aspire to be a somewhat competant troll.

And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell.

I was trying to be serious, how can a mining vessel have the advantage over a combat vessel?

A Hulk can easily out PVP a destroyer with them drones and resists and locking times, it is well out of balance.

As it stands an Exhumer is the best way to catch a pod, perhaps the only ship capable of locking a pod.

Getting you on your feet.

So you've further to fall.

I agree.

I nanofitted my hulk and zoomed around nullsec killing everyone on sight. It's way too overpowered. After that I ninjamined for a bit and headed back to empire cargo full of ore. I would have made 2 bil profit, but I used the ore to build ships, because the minerals I mine are free.

For example, Vagabond can't mine as efficiently as Hulk, but both are good for combat. CCP needs to nerf combat ships to mine as efficiently as the Hulk and to nerf the combat Hulk and the combat industrials, which are as effective as combat cruisers.

The solution is to mine with supercaps.

8/10 for funniness of euphemism
1/10 for credibility.

As if it was hard to gank a mining barge in hi-sec. As if the "support fleet" you're talking about could do anything when 5 gank BS decide to alpha the miners.

Fixed it for you.

Hulks should have weaker tank so we can instapop them with Tempests. Really.
