Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Yesterday I ran into the same issue that had me re-install the whole game just a couple of months. basically what happens is that the Game wont start,the launcher wont start it, the .exe file won't start it, the safe mode doesn't work either,nor do any of the repair tools or solutions listed in the eve forums or other websites, I've tried them all.Here is how the problem showed up, and all the steps I took in chronological order:

1.I was playing eve and as usual I had no problem whatsoever.

2. I log off to switch character on the account, as usual the game close and I am waiting for it to re-open so I can log in the account again.

3.The game won't re-open.So I open the launcher and press "play".

4.I see the desktop kind of freeze for a second,just like it always does before the game starts, but this time nothing happens,the game isn't starting.

5.I close my windows session, and try again,still the same problem.

6.I go in the launcher tools, run the repair, delete local caches, and try to run in safe mode.Problem persist.

7.I try disabling Microsoft essentials and windows firewall, I also try many solutions on the web and again, nothing works.the launcher still opens but the game just won't start.

8.I give up and close the pc. Today I gave it another shot, but this time it's even worst than yesterday.Even the launcher won't show up now.

So like I said, I took the decision today to just delete all eve files and do a fresh install.The reason why I am doing that so quickly is because I had the exact same problem a few months ago and I must have tried to solve it for at least a week long, and nothing ever worked.The only solution is to just re-install the whole game.

So what I'd like to know here,above all else,is what could have caused it, and what I can do to prevent it.Because I don't want to install a new client every 2 months.

eve is running on an HDD
