Sorry for making this thread drag on and on like this, OP, but at least I did address the droneboat thing earlier.

The Vexor is quick to get into and packs a big whallop compared to smaller droneboats.

I would suggest training for it ASAP.

You want the following:

Drones 5, Drone Interfacing 3 (~6 days). DI to 4 soon afterwards (4 more days) and to 5 within 6 months (20 days)
Gallente Frigate 4 (prereq), 2 days
Gallente Cruiser 4 (4 days), 3 is OK to start with
Small Hybrid Turrets 3 or 4 (whatever the prereq for medium is), 5 hours or 1 day
Medium Hybrid Turrets 3 (12 hours)
Hull Upgrades 4 (2 days, lets you fit a tech 2 armor tank)
Combat Drone Operation 4 (1 day). 5 soon afterwards (5 days) for tech 2 medium drones
Gallente Drone Specialisation 3 (1 day, more expensive skillbook than the rest, needed for tech 2 drones)
Core skills (Electronics, Engineering, Weapon Upgrades etc) - the more points the better

That's a start guide. None of those skills are wasted if you fly a Dominix in future except the 4th tier of Gallente Cruiser (by the time you reach that point, Gallente Battleship's prereqs will have changed to only include level 3 in that skill although right now it is 4)


The best thing is - these skills will all serve you well in PVP too. I still love the Vexor for PVP - everyone underestimates it and boy can it pack a whallop (low 700s DPS with my skills, while also functioning as heavy tackle and having enough EHP to win many a 1v1 or even 1v2 fight).
