Xystance was so excited by this concept when he thought it up, he just wanted to do this to break the tedium of modern Nullsec and try something new, he's been tired of TEST for a while. Let's face it, uniting a number of highsec players itself will be his biggest challenge, although Xystance did manage to successfully teach hundreds of TEST players how to play to at least a basic level of competence, so if anyone can do it, it is probably him.

It must break his heart to see all the people who are sufficiently jaded think he's not sincere. Of course, there are some people who simply can't help.

Even if this IS a troll/scam to lure people into a big Goonswarm waiting, it is very tempting to join just for the lulz and fun activity Lol

Just to be able to say: I was there!

Eve teaches you that level of jaded, but I gotta say, I support an effective powerblock being formed out of highsec carebears.

Has he tried to get ahold of the newly formed clusterbunny coalition to offer his services? They are attempting the same thing, perhaps some form of assistance could be made.

Speaking as a "carebear", i fully endorse this product/service.

I hereby dedicate my time/resources to this endeavor. Even if it is a scam (and i'm not saying it is) it should be well worth it just for the lolz and fun of losing ships for a cause. I have no personal reason to go against goons, it just sounds like lots of fun. And for someone that is sick and tired of the high sec carebear life, looking to get their feet wet in null/low sec warfare, this sounds like an excellent opportunity to blow **** up!

My hats off to the OP for having the balls to step up and try something new.

+1 sir!

This is going to be brutal to watch as people loose their ships.

You have TEST members saying HOW DARE YOU.. and Other TEST "I SUPPORT This"

Yet he is still in TEST.

I will be smiling at the killmails.

Also, why can't I buy a tinfoil hat in the NeX?

I think this comes from the fact that as long as he is still in TEST, and allied with Goons it going to be very hard to most to know for sure.
Many do not, and will never trust any one from Goons, or speaks highly of them. All I read is they are cheaters, lire's, and scamers.

I can't fully say if it's all true or not, but every thing I read in the generic corp chat is enough for me to stay away from them.

I support this idea; a bloc forming out of highsec pubbies who actually want to fight back would be a cause for celebration (since we can always use some more young blood pvpers), and if anyone can do it, Xystance can.

Nah man... training's a passion of mine, I have a few videos in the cooker, I've had to re-create a voiceover since my recording setup didn't get my voice, just in game sounds (sigh) so it's taken longer than expected, but it's somethign I enjoy.

As far as the sincerity thing, I'm from ******* TEST, I get it. :)

But there's a reason I haven't been playing much over the last three months, I've gotten bored with the game, been displeased with our direction and leadership, and bored with our enemies in null sec (Morsus Mihi and Br1ck Squad, wololol). But seeing Goonswarm and... yes, TEST mine high sec for tears, as amusing as I thought it was... it doesn't have to be that way.

I ******* love this game and I play it well, and it kills me to see thousands of people who play it often who have never really "played it". Using Goonswarm as an excuse to band everyone together as a common enemy is just convenient... Plus I get to shoot goons. :)

It's alright, I get it. :)

I just didn't want to commit to something unless other people were interested, so far it seems like a bunch of people are interested, I'm actually lining things up in the background to see if they're going to work out. I can form a corp all i want but this character <------ over here has no corp management skills, and while I'm an IT guy I have no experience setting up a forum or a voice service or anything else that usually ties a group of people together socially, you know?

So if i do this it'll be with my whole ass, not just a half ass.

I have run guilds before. Not in this game, and also almost no corp skills. It would take more free time than I have.

Oh geez. These aren't Navy SEALs we're talking about. Goons are usually:

1. drunk
2. eating Cheetos
3. fapping to anime
4. distrcted by lolcats
5. all of the above

when on fleets. I think your idea is a good one, but I'm pretty sure that even a rag-tag fleet with slightly better numbers could do some damage against them.

Hell, I could consider jumping out of my current corp/alliance for a little while to hopefully get in some good PvP.
Like so many have said, even if this is a scam, just going out and shooting at things, and getting shot at, will be good for lolz.

The Glorious Revolution is a great (awful) corp, and you should (not) join today, comrade!

You know better than this Mr. Brack Reegion.

I was exaggerating a bit, but in all seriousness... put together a ragtag band of dudes in caracals, drakes, brutix, ravens, etc... and you'll get murdered by numerically inferior fleets if they're well put together.

What range do we engage at? Do we have logistics? How fast can we move / turn, do we need to worry about transversal / angular to apply better dps, what resists should we be targetting / what are our ammo type bonuses, etc...

There are too many things to consider, any competently run goonfleet with welpcanes or drakes will plow through what we've got unless we know how we're going to engage.

So, i'm not exaggering when I say, if I brought in a **** fleet of 120 random dudes and went up against 35 welpcanes, 8 logistics, and 7 ceptors / dictors / etc... my 120 random dudes wuold have a very high chance of losing badly.

the thing about scammers is that they're always thinking 2 steps ahead of the naive players.

These guys are already thinking 2 steps ahead of you guys (hisec bears). All the subtleties and nuances of a scam are there; the public bickering b/w opposing alliances, a few members voicing discontent, etc....

It is set up to lead you believe that you don't need to invest anything of value....yet.

Don't believe for one second that a seasoned pvp veteran is naive enough to lead on other naive bears in a fight against nullsec pilots.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .
