First off really like the new Pod Death sequence, much more cinematic feel than a loading bar Smile
There was some art clipping on the corpse but i bug reported that.

However, to self destruct my pod i was self destructing my ship first, and noticed that the camera shifts immediately after your ship blows up to your pod. This is ok i guess, except for the fact that I miss the explosion of my ship!!!! Seeing as some devs recently made explosions more pretty, i shouldn't be missing out on my ships demise.
Ideally the camera would slowly pan from explosion to pod or something like that rather than an instantaneous jump to focus on the pod.

Have you repeated the attempt more then just a few times? I have often found that the majority of times when my ship blows up, my cam shift to my pod immediately yes, but it also does so while keeping the ship within view.
