Been looking at the Genolution implants, the ones we got by CCP. They are down to 17~18 mil pr. implant. Do you think they will go up in price and thus be a good investment (in a few months time) or do you think they will remain low?

they seem to give them out once or twice a year, so up to you to decide.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Just about anything is a good buy if you get it cheap, and then truck it off to set up "SELL" orders in an understocked station somewhere.

Take a look at the price history in the market, that will give you a good idea about where they 'could' end up again.

Remain low; everyone is too scared now.

Supply and demand = price.

By giving this item out for free, it creates more awareness, which might increase demand. It's also pretty cheap considering the extras you get over the basic version.

The price history tells you what you need to know about it. Is it worth locking down the capital? Maybe if your taking a 8 month break from the game.

People will get podded and the the price will go back up to imo ~40m mark, its just a matter of how long will it take, there are probably better places to speculate on right before the expansion but i sunk 8bn in them genes @ around 18-19m, thats what i think :P

Tell you one thing, as soon as CCP so much as farts in the direction of special items next time, we all know to just DITCH all stockpiles as fast as u can click, so once those items arrive in game, they will be worthless and bought up at free prices.

Unless CCP specifically states nowadays, most of the items presented to us as "anniversary gifts" are recycled and redistributed via other means including various marketing promotions.

Looking at historical price data for this item does not make sense since CCP reintroduces them randomly as part of various marketing promotions throughout years.

There are certainly better investments when it comes to collectibles.

This pretty much summarizes what I wanted to say.

I had a good experience flipping Genolutions bought for 19M @ 40-45M or thereabouts, but it's so sketchy to predict when CCP are going to dump them on the market that, despite my previous success, it's an item I'd be weary about re-entering into.
