Cats. I know deep down they are evil and don't give a sh*t if you live or die, but they are such entertaining characters I'm willing to look past that.

I find dogs a bit needy, they can't seem to get through an hour without seeking your approval.

I'm member of a canine breed club (ISSR Shiloh Shepherds) and volunteer at a Border Collie rescue (MABCR) So I guess that pretty much says it.
I very much like cats too, though - Nothing like waking up to a purring cat sitting on your chest. Blink

No villain would be complete without a large, sinister-looking cat.
It is for that reason that I chose the mighty Maine Coon, as my pet.
Norwegian Forrest Cats are pretty awesome, too. So are Desert Lynxes.

But, wait... there's more. I also like dogs. Mostly Huskies and Malamutes.

That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right...

Cat-person all the way, had them in my life since I was aged 4 (I'm pushing 40 now).

Dogs are just...annoyingly loud, not too bright, and far too maintenance-intensive.

Was watching my zoo last night and Luigi and Pepe (cats) starting getting in each others faces all taking pot swats and whatnot. Well Kaje, my Rotten Retriever, decided that he wanted to join. Next thing I know this dog that is 5 times as big as the cats lands next to them and gives his playful Urff. Suddenly the living room had 2 less cats.

Dogs are among the most intelligent animals, FYI. As a general rule, social hunters are the most intelligent. Hunting requires a certain level of intellect, and complex social networks add another layer to that requirement.

Find me a cat that can understand a few hundred spoken words, read a human's facial expressions (it has been scientifically proven only dogs can do this well, they severely outperform apes), herd other animals on its own, or do anything Endal could and you just found me a dog in a cat costume. FFS Endal could dial 911 on a phone and routinely operated ATMs.
