I'm so glad that everyone understands CCP devs are our slaves and should not do anything except what we expressly order them to do.

Furthermore, I too agree that EVE Online should look like it did back in 2003 and should look terrible and dated forever. It's a sin against humanity to ever make anything look nicer than 2003 graphics could provide. Even the slightest tweak of a pixel is an unforgivable waste of dev resources that can never be added back to our lives. Heads should roll, jobs should be lost, volcanoes in Egypt and Peru should violently erupt. Don't tell me there are no volcanoes in Egypt; they should erupt anyway. That's how unforgiveable it is to spend even a single fraction of a second on anything except bugfixes and worshipping us, the subscribers.

Fortunately, the entire above portion of my post was complete sarcasm. What follows, however, absolutely is not.

I'm pretty sure becoming bitter about the ridiculous demands and unjustifiably indignant attitudes of various self-entitled players are what keep me from becoming properly bitter about CCP like everyone else.

So they updated some icons. If you hate it so much, if it offends you so deeply, if it's such an unholy affront to your very way of life, then go play an ugly game. There are so many that I can't even begin to tell you how many there are. Leave EVE to the rest of us who want something both beautiful and complex.

I may or may not be willing to buy you a new one, depending on certain factors.
