No but seriously, it sounds like there might be some tactical issues with this FC to work out. For the future though, use the 1600mm plate Blackbird. If you've got some fleetmates also attracting station gun fire you should be able to get a couple cycles out of this before you have to warp out. Two cycles easily, and remember with this setup you've got five mids dedicated to ECM. He might have assumed that's what you were using.

Actually he knew exactly the fit I fly. I NEVER fly with the plate fit. I absolutely hate it. The reason is a blackbird should never be sitting so close to get killed and if hes getting yellowboxed he better jam that guy or warp to another tact.

I know lots of pilots that fly with the plate I just do not like it.

I like to have tacts all over the gates we fight on so if I get locked I just warp to another gate tact, etc, etc.

But yea he knew what I was flying , the same night some corpie jammed our own fleet, and we had the discussion right then and there AGAIN about fits...

for the record, you failing your trial had 0 to do with your tactics or gateguns or any other gameplay related events, you failed your trial for countermanding FC orders, on comms. Your telling your side of the story for engagement in taisy, and its woefully out of phase with what actually happenned. FC calls drake is aggressed on station and you like a total clown call out " omg dont shoot him the station guns will get you.

What is there not to understand about how lowsec works with that engagement? your assumption about us not knowing how very simple mechanics is wrong, and ultimately we lost a vaga to a drake because the assumption we made about you knowing how to play was miles off.

Emo raging FC?, thats rich coming from the guy who failed his trial and made a big crybaby post on eve forums. and as for the rest of your post with things like "omg i left fleet open for 10 minutes for you guys to find me" i mean whats this proving? that your bad?

Yes by all means join a corp that has no clue about how to FC.

James your post is trivial at best. When an FC calls for the blackbird to jam a drake on station in low sec while 8 of his other corpmates cant kill a drake there is only one word fail.

The yelling came when Dirka saw that a smart blackbird pilot was refusing to commit suicide and do nothing to help in the process. Blackbirds go pop when GCC on a station or gate. Any competent FC or pilot would not have flown his vaga into 2point range of a drake as well....the whole event is laughable and shows why raining doom is a fleet full of clowns.

And like I told Dirka, I had already planned to leave before being booted so its no loss to me. I just think its hilarious that a "good" fc doesn't know how to fly a fleet or how eve mechanics work.

Agressed in low sec lol who gives a crap. Besides losing a 200m Vaga to a Drake shows how fail he is.

You defending him makes it even better for lawls.

If my post is trivial at best why havnt you dealt with the core of my argument.

You were booted for countermanding an FC seconds after he gave orders, your little rant about game mechanics is utterly trivial mate, it has no basis in you failing your trial, we know how sentries work, your trying to tell us you do to when youve had clear orders from your FC.

You can keep waffling about how this happened and how that happened and omg im so pro in my blackbird i cant follow incredibly simple orders (FYI Lemmings can folow orders, why cant you?) But explaining how gateguns work to the eve community will only get you so far :)

James an FC asking someone to do something that achieves nothing is what you are missing. The fact that the FC is yelling someone is agressed means nothing in lowsec.

When an FC blames a blackbird pilot for not jamming (which was done) and claims is why he died is the issue. The ranting happened after the fight.................and a lemming is a moron with no brain that follows people over the cliff. See Ice Age the movie for more details.

When an FC is clearly incompetent, is when pilots will refuse to do what they are told because it is clear incompetence. Devious999 already told dirka he was an incompetent pilot when he lost his scimitar 30mins before. Would it have been incompetence on my part if I was in a falcon and being yelled at to go GCC on a station?

Dirka is clearly incompetent as an FC. The funny thing is when an FC makes a call that will make his fleet go down in a ball of fire and achieve a drake kill only, there is a problem.

That is the point. Dirka made a ridiculous call, a good FC knows when he screwed up. Asking other people to die in the decision for nothing (not saving a ship, not achieving extra kills, etc) is pointless and any good pvp pilot will laugh.

Following an FC is one thing, following an FC that is bored and spur of the moment decides to do something stupid is another. This wasnt even a roam, it was a fleet sitting on station waiting for the rest of the fleet to get going.

You failed your trial not for thinking you know best how to fly your ship, but for countermanding orders of the FC, i hate to repeat my self but its obviously not sinking in how absolutely central it is not to cause confusion in the middle of a fleet engagement, This is Fleet rule number 1. You may PM me and i'll give you some other very basic tips, i can also cousel you concerning your phobia of GCC as i feel that if you can overcome this you may actually find a home with a decent alliance.

The only incompetance was countermanding FC orders seconds after there given. as for devious calling dirka incompetent, well 8 of us in fleet told you you;re ******** last night but you obviously havnt taken it to heart so thats a pretty invalid point.

we lost a vagabond to a drake due to lack of jams, if our ECM pilot had have been even semi competent and not trying to tell our fleet to disengage maybe we wouldnt have lost the vaga, its a maybe on that one ill grant you :p

Weve had an after action discussion about things, we've learned from our mistake, our only major mistake was our assumption you could play and be a useful member of a fleet,

No its my way of saying Im not going to argu over the forums with someone that doesnt get it.

Let me try and explain:

1) Fleet was not ordered to attack drake until FC decided to do it spur of the moment

2) 8 v 1 drake and you need a jammer to suicide himself for you?

3) FC yelling for blackbird to jam something on station which blackbird did - regardless of fc being ********

4) FC proceeds to yell and scream after he losses his vaga because of his stupity

5) Proceeds to yell at blackbird pilot that is yelling back telling him he made a ******** call

6) FC continues to say he was agressed and refuses to acknowledge he was not GCCd meaning he was not free to shoot in lowsec

7) FC fails to realize a disorganized, waiting to get together to fleet is not a fleet.

Your whole argument stems from the fact that you believe I did not do what the FC asked, (km proves I did) hence why I am done responding to you.

Why do i bother talking, you state all the facts for why you failed your trial clearly so everyone can read and laguh.

5 (possible) loss vs 200m loss due to someone not following orders 1 Billion dollars
Fleet going down in a ball of fire due to lemming screaming on coms like a girl and not listening 10 Billion dollars
