I think that's nice, I mean surely if you were a prisoner you'd rather like, have a nice little resort in the Kingdom in return for a bit of honest work rather than like, being trapped in a closet in Caldari space or something ♥

Andreus has no moral authority to speak on the issue of prisoner treatment.

He was willing to hand any Amarrian prisoners of war over to the Blood Raider Covenant, to be used as sacrifices.

Therefore, everything he says is irrelevant.

He did who what now when? I'm gonna assume you have proof to back that up? Not talking down to you or anything...just wondering if there's evidence, cause that's a hell of a claim man.

It's true. He was going to do it just because he wanted to spite the Amarr empire.

But where's the proof? I don't see evidence.

Now that's hypocrisy at work.
For that you expect hard proof, but when it comes to prejudge the nature of this announcement you're perfectly fine without.

Also I'm sure we'll hear Ixiris's insults on this matter sooner or later. Sadly, it's inevitable.

Ruthlessness is the kindness of the wise.

He went to Silas Vitalia's party. People saw him there.

That Blood raider agent, Asias Urazmie, was also there. People saw her there.

He offered his assistance to the Covenant, because "his interests converged" regarding the Amarr Empire. People saw this.

But I guess everyone there was a complete liar, and that didn't happen at all.

Because you know, the Federation is always Morally Right, and everyone else morally wrong.

For this announcement I didn't need proof. I read the language, understood it, looked at the laws of Khanid and the State, and made an educated inference there in. If you want to blame something, blame the contractual language and announcing this before details are hammered out to prevent any misunderstanding. A logical way to go about this and not draw unwanted attention would have been to establish the contract clauses and fine print and THEN move forward in announcing it. Either that, or establish a draft outline of do's/dont's for the plans to ensure sentiment was able to be leashed and controlled.

But that didn't happen. A loosely worded statement of intent was published and garnered a reaction that anyone with half a brain could see coming a few AU away. This was published and it garnered a reaction and people assuming things because of the information at hand, not because it was pulled out of the air because someone saw Caldari, Khanid, and POW in the same sentence.

In Andreus case, I don't see a statement he made of what is claimed to have happened. If I see logs, then hey, no contest there. But I don't. In addition, this whole thread isn't about bashing him. It's questioning actions in an announcement. Let's keep it that way.

I didn't hit that party for uh, reasons. But I'm not saying it's IMPOSSIBLE for him to have done that. He gets angrier than me at times so hey, it's possible. I just wanted to see proof. Also the Fed is rarely morally right now a days...if...ever since we got into space. So don't try to toss me in with stereotypes who hold the Federation up high and sing its praises and say it's impossible that it'll ever be wrong.

Last few hundred years say otherwise.

Andreus posted about wishing to help the Covenant capture faithful Amarr on the IGS itself.

I am sure that you could peruse the archives if you so desire.

Well I found something. That doesn't help his case much unless this was out of context...which, doesn't...seem to be. Wheeeeelp. Like I said, the Fed is anything but a moral paragon!

Who Synthia? She's sort of poofed, but I'll prod her next I see. By the way, are you trying to frame me like another Andreus by saying I associate with Synthia?

Blame basic human interpretation of what was written. Most people would read this and think slavery without strictly defined terms.

And Des you of all people should know I'm a bit far from prejudice against PYRE or any Caldari, especially for a Gallente. I'm not saying what I say because you're Caldari. I'd say the same thing if it was Julianus Soter writing this thing and putting Caldari and Amarr to places like this (actually I might be even angrier and less civil with him).

So, you're not saying this because I'm Caldari, but because I'm using words like 'Caldari' and 'Amarr'. I see how that has nothing to do with prejudice at all. But you're not alone in hypocrisy, after all, so it'd be unfair to just blame you solely for being guilty of that bad habit.

Regardless, everything concerning this announcement has been said and clarified already. Whether you - or anyone else - decides to interpret this in creative ways is none of my business nor concern, as all I'm liable to are our shareholders and current laws and statutes of the State, and by extension, the kingdom. Seeing how efficient transparency is at stopping spreading rumours it is yet to be decided whether any partners in the kingdom will be named or not.

Furthermore I'd humbly suggest that you'd consider the possibility that shady, semi-legal or illegal activities are rarely announced in a public venue.

Ruthlessness is the kindness of the wise.

Erm...did you read the whole 'not because it was pulled out of the air because someone saw Caldari, Khanid, and POW in the same sentence' part of my earlier post?...As for the Caldari Amarr thing, I meant if Soter was taking Caladari and Amarr POWs and doing something similar. You bet I'd call his ass out. This has nothing to do with race, at ALL.

Look I read something and interpreted it. I don't care that Veik posted it. I wouldn't care WHO posted it. I'd still call it out. Look back at what I said. It has nothing to do with race, but action being taken and loose language.

The language was quite precise in my view to describe in short, the program envisioned. The issue as I see it is the apparent pressing need of some to rapidly associate anything with the Khanid Kingdom or Amarr Empire with slavery in bouts of moral outrage and barely cognizant diatribe full of supposition and conjecture. That to me is the heart of the matter. What need have I to satisfy the prejudices and ignorance of others? There seems to be a lack of awareness that the Pyre Falcon Defence Combine is both a Caldari State entity and a military contractor: Public Opinion is very much a low priority when considering the scope of its operations.

However, if you believe those sentiments to still be couched in loose language then permit me to provide a degree of clarity and brevity:

The opinions of those not a shareholder or client of the Pyre Falcon Defence Combine matter not a jot to me.

If and when I issue clarifications or elaborations as regards its operations it is never done out of a need to defend myself from those that may disagree with them, but rather, it is a largesse I extend out of the kindness of my heart as is my prerogative.

May it help you in the future.

[ADDENDUMS//18 JUNE YC 115]
V. Pyre Falcon Defence Combine will be entering into a phase of Unrestricted Commercial Raiding against any and all commercial vessels not flying the flags of the Caldari State, Amarr Empire, Khanid Kingdom or Ammatar Mandate in systems designated 0.4 Security Level and below. This policy will be in addition to current Pre-emptive Defensive Action clauses regarding independent CONCORD registered vessels.

In the course of conducting this Unrestricted Commercial Raiding, Pyre Falcon Defence Combine will consider any citizens of the Gallente Federation or Minmatar Republic captured during the course of such operations as enemy combatants and will be treated as Prisoners of War. Any assets seized during Commercial Raiding operations will be considered the property of Pyre Falcon Defence Combine and Prisoners of War captured will be transferred to future detainment facilities in the Khanid Kingdom as outlined in Point IV. of this document.

VI. Pyre Falcon Defence Combine will be committing itself to the growth of its corporate military capabilities with the intent to achieve the ability to conduct full-scale Asset Realization and Pacification operations in the CEWPA designated territories originally assigned to the sovereignties of the Gallente Federation and Minmatar Republic by YC 117.

The purpose of these Asset Realization and Pacification operations will be to alleviate the costs associated with territorial occupation to Kaalakiota Corporation, Wiyrkomi Corporation and Lai Dai Corporation in the CEWPA warzone by taking advantage of changes in CONCORD regulations regarding the ownership of orbital customs offices combined with the integration of clone soldier units into the Pyre Falcon Defence Combine to undertake the occupation and control of urban and industrial centres leased to Pyre Falcon Defence Combine by Kaalakiota, Wiyrkomi or Lai Dai.

During the course of future Asset Realization and Pacification operations:

a) Pyre Falcon Defence Combine shall seek to deploy a Customs Office over a selected world in an occupied CEWPA zone system to act as an orbital Command and Control centre for the conduct of Asset Realization and Pacification in designated occupation zones.

b) Pyre Falcon Defence Combine will not recognize the local legal civil and human rights granted to the peoples of a selected world by either the Gallente Federation or Minmatar Republic. Only the Corporate or Martial Law of Kaalakiota, Wiyrkomi or Lai Dai will be recognized during the course of Asset Realization and Pacification operations by the Pyre Falcon Defence Combine.

c) Pyre Falcon Defence Combine shall seek to clearly outline the articles of relevant Corporate and Martial Law to the populace of a designated occupation zone. Non-compliance by any persons of a selected world with the outlined articles of Martial Law will result in their designation as an enemy combatant. Pyre Falcon Defence Combine will reserve the right to the prosecution of lethal force against any and all enemy combatants on a selected world. Any enemy combatants captured during Asset Realization and Pacification operations will be considered an Prisoner of War and will be detained in facilities as outlined in Point IV. of this document.

d) Pyre Falcon Defence Combine shall assert control over all civil infrastructure in addition to private industry in its designated occupation zones. Pyre Falcon Defence Combine shall consider the products of private industry on a selected world as part of payments rendered for incurred debt related to leasing rights to Kaalakiota, Wiyrkomi or Lai Dai. Work Incentivization Teams will be deployed to ensure the continued productivity of industry and any workers found not complying with the directives of deployed Work Incentivization Teams will be considered non-compliant with the articles of Martial Law as outlined in Point VI. c) of this document.

Systems selected for future Asset Realization and Pacification operations in the Gallente Federation will include:

Alamel, Aldranette, Alparena, Anchauttes, Arderonne, Aslavoinon, Athounon, Aubenall, Esesier, Eugales, Evaulon, Fraire, Mantenault, Mercomesier, Moclinamoud, Odamia, Oicx, Renarelle, Reschard, Vlillirier.

In addition, Pyre Falcon Defence Combine will reserve the right to negotiate the conduct of Asset Realization and Pacification operations in the Minmatar Republic centred upon the Aldodan Constellation of the Metropolis Region pending future authorization to do so by relevant Imperial authorities during the course of occupation of these territories by Amarr Empire.

VII. In recognition of the scope of operations required in conducting successful and peaceful Asset Realization and Pacification operations in the future, it has been determined necessary to establish an Special Tasks Unit to assist in their conduct that in addition to acting as an Internal Corporate Commissariat reporting directly to the Executive Board in issues relating to Human Resources shall also be responsible during AR&P operations for:

- Counter-insurgency operations.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Surveillance operations.
- Information warfare.
- Work Incentivization.
- Targeted Kill or Capture operations.
- Risk minimization.
- Detention and debriefing of captured enemy combatants prior to their transfer to off-shore processing facilities.

It is the hope that through the use of the Special Tasks Unit that the Pyre Falcon Defence Combine may conduct AR&P operations with the lowest initial overlay in personnel and that they are conducted with the least possible unrest and instability to the local populaces.
