The fight between PvPers and carebears really is the carebears' fault.

If you want to cripple a supply chain then do it within the confines of the sandbox and the rule set given.

Do you realize that in a 'true sandbox' there would be zero rules as to where and what you can do to another player?

What you're asking for is basically the opposite of a sandbox environment, you want the environment to take on the role of shaping your experience more than the interactions of other people; specifically rules of engagement that keep you safe with no effort from yourself.

Sorry but I am not asking anything. I am just pointing out the other shoe has dropped. The would be gankers like to point out that working as intended when people (miners/indy/freighter) complain about crappy game mechanics being exploited to kill them. So I would just like to reply in kind now that those same crappy mechanics helps people avoid being ganked.

Working as intended, HTFU, nothing broken.........

by clicking it, you are accepting.

Having the right to do something and having the ability to do something are separate issues. I have the ability to go next door right now and burn my neighbors house down. That doesn't mean he consented to have his house burnt down.

This is the definition of non consensual pvp. In Eve he knows you have the ability to burn down his home and it is your right to try. He has the Ability to defend it and bring his mates along with guns and water hoses to sow you down and repel you.

I'm sure its been picked before me but I haven't read the whole thread.

Why dont some miners train combat skills so they can do level 4 missions. Quite a lot of high end minerals can be obtained from rat loot.

Most of the skills you can use for level four missions is also great for pvp as well.

Its time to stand up against the bad empire based CEO telling falsehoods about what new characters can accomplish and pushing them towards an in game experience of drudgery and loneliness keeping them in the shadow of ignorance for at nest their own profit at worse apathy towards all the experiences that Eve has to offer.
