could you really be wearing my jacket?

staying hands-off is also, historically, the way they like to play it. it is also fair to everything that happens.

that I should worry about losing my hearing is nonsense, because there will always be -=BASS=-

Maybe because I watched Madoka recently.... but would the Rains work as a group of Magical Girls? Twisted

also, there is a huge disparity in quality between the official/professional art released by CCP, and images generated by players. this calendar is unusual for its quality (not to sound self-serving), so trying to stay vanilla like the rest of the images posted on the EVE facebook page (for example) is not the way to go, in my opinion.

I'm more than happy with this thread being merely permitted. I consider that enough support. I also think they know about this thread by now, and have seen the images, and have made the decision to stay hands-off. aside from the raciness, this is very original, player-generated content that has grown from the eve-o forums, and I think that's the only reason this would be condoned.

trust me, I don't want to push it too far.

basically, I think we're alone on this one. personally, everyone enjoys a good photoshop, but officially (as volunteers and employees of CCP), all they can do to condone this is not lock the thread, so we have to keep this moving on our own.

if this got me a ban (temporary, hopefully!), that's exactly the type of thing people like to hear: "some players made a calendar and the pilot who drew it got banned... check it out"

not that I want to be disruptive, but getting in trouble is not -all- bad.

explicit, non-PEGI is not a direction I would like to go. I think a big part of this calendar's appeal is the new take on a bland character pose (everyone is used to seeing). it's what makes them fun to look at. something familiar and boring has been made cool

I think going X rated would only cheapen the calendar.

I wouldn't use an in-game mailing list to distribute non-PEGI images, either Shocked

the story of the rains and the graphic novel I have wanted to do (for years).. it is very, very, very, very adult. I plan to make it as explicit as wormhole space is lawless (and to the furthest extent of my artistic ability). so:

1: I've spent time considering un-endorsed fanfic art, and

2: I get the impression you're ok with that, so maybe this is one step closer to the graphic novel being published. maybe over the summer.

As you say, we should keep it PEGI. If even for a selfish reason, i don't want my characters involved in something non-PEGI (and thus cheapening, as you said) unless it's me at the wheel. You can bet some stuff i've come up for TGFB it's so much non-PEGI that will stay in a locked drawer for a long while. This is unavoidable as, all in all, these characters are the product of our imagination, and so are supernaturally whatever floats our boat. If I have a soft spot for -say- Asian females with unusual eye colors, that's my business, and as much as i want my characters to look much better than what the creator allows us, anything non-PEGI would belong to my mind until, and unless, I wanted to share it.

Zoe-Chloe is on the verge of what I would take for Yiole and Indah, probably a tad too far as Chloe's ass & tanga are... houm... working too well.

Hey, a team of OOPE Mahou shojou, powered by likes and protecting the world from the ebil Trolls works in my opinion.

Why do I get the feeling the crew here is starting to seem like the cast of a webcomic?

I concour with this.

staying within PEGI is best. This is a calendar to enhance the characters and have a good laugh. Not a BDSM calendar which would cheapen both the appeal and the effect. Theres plenty of fapping material out there, lets keep it PEGI.

Loco, if you are working in a BDSM version, *cough*Blink*cough*

Surely if it doesn't get published int he wild its all good... Big smile

That said keep it PEGI for the calender.
