It's definitely unfortunate. You know that the EVE forums between 00:00-05:00 are going to be all in a mess when you come in the morning, right?


I wish the best at CCP - and it's unfortunate to hear the words "communicate more" addressed recently followed by this. It's many things that are indescribable.

Now that the thread has been cleaned up a bit, let me try and address your concerns.

The community team (currently comprising CCP Navigator, CCP Guard, CCP Phantom and yours truly) will continue to function as it did before. I completely agree with you -- the community must receive the news from us in a timely manner, and we must make sure that your voice is heard -- and we will help to maintain this dialogue (and, hopefully, make it even better).

Out of these people you Spitfire are the only one left that when I see your name I can actually recognize who you are by posts that you have made that I have read. if that makes any sense. I am pretty sure that it is the same for many people here. I do not post alot on here but I do read the forums every day and I feel that we as a community have lost alot from the current firings and I also feel that it is going to be very hard for 4 people to effectivly relay and comment on the communities thoughts and ideas in any sort of productive amount of time. I am not saying that you guys don't do a good job just that I think it is not possible no matter how hard you work.

Suppose two less tickets to fanfest will be bought this year. It is kind of sad, never gonna see them again. Only know one person from a an MMO forum who was fired or let go of, but in that case much rejoicing.
