Don't you find it ironic that you, who call for not calling a person guilty before trial, cannot differentiate between going to war in order to bring someone to court, and a lynch mob?`

Not that either is necessary right. But surely they are different wrongs?

I can't differentiate between it, no. The Gallente Federation were already investigating the incident, had a suspect and were initiating trial proceedings to bring that individual to court.

There was absolutely no reason for the Minmatar to attempt to escalate matters by bringing a fleet into Gallente space in order to take the prisoner into their custody. Hence why I refer to the actions of a lynch mob.

And that is a very accurate description of said fleet.

So.

Every warship fleet that does something unnecessary is a "lynch mob"? That is a very interesting definition, but I'l try and remember that's how you use the word, in any further conversations with you.

Please try reading what I actually wrote.

I clearly said that the Minmatar had no reason to bring their fleet into Gallente space to bring a fugitive to trial. I didn't link it to any and every unnecessary fleet action.

The Gallente already had a suspect and were already engaged in conducting the proper legal proceedings. By contrast the Minmatar had no legal right for their actions as the crime was not committed in Minmatar space and their actions led to a large number of people being killed on both sides.

I would urge you to be a little more discerning in considering the actions of the Minmatar fleet.

No reason that you are aware of. Last I saw, there has still been no official statement from Shakor or the Tribal Council as to why the decision was made.

If you're going to presume innocence of the assassin/shooter until his trial has been completed and he has been officially declared guilty, it seems only appropriate that you do the same in your statements regarding the Republic and Colelie.

I am sure that if Broteau was handed over to the Republic in the heat of the moment he would have been barbarically executed.\

You mean like that man who was tortured to death by the roaring of a crowd of Federation citizens?

Here's the core of the problem. The Federation insists on treating us like children, and then wonders why we get angry.

I'm just curious, Jelani Akinyemi Affonso, but based on the what the Republic has done, wouldn't the shooter have been treated worse had he been given over to your government?

There's worse?
