How do I move the pie menu to the middle mouse button?

Hi, looked at the ESC menu and it seems the setting for which mouse button opens the pie menu is now gone.

I set mine to middle mouse button currently, and would like to be able to do it after the release hits as well.

Here is a clue: some people don't want or need your new menu system, and want it out of the way.

(Sort of how some people extremely rarely want to look at a 9x9 blowup of the player portrait yet you have it
set to trigger on single click ever so inconveniently. Generally I'm finding if Soundwave thinks we should have nerd boners over some feature, usually it is something I do not need, want, or use.... *cough* gate warp effect *cough*)

You can change the hotkey for the radial menu I think by looking under shortcuts and general and setting instant action menu.

Now that I think of it, that WONT solve your problem, if I were you I would not hold your right click mouse down and the menu wont come up, as for the menu on the scanner icon next to the hub...sorry but that will probably stay.

The jump effect is NOT something that makes people have a nerd boner, it is a smooth transition effect that makes the game LOOK more realistic. However, maybe you are right. Sooo lets go ahead and undue all the new v3 skins, revert the models back to the original ones before trinity. While we are at it, lets go ahead and take out the new warp drive effects that were brought in latest expansions....hell just get rid of it period. Also, while we are at it, lets take the textures out of planets...they dont have a mechanical point right? Ha yes take out the redid nebula art.....the MOMENT you stand up and say, "hey this visual effect is not useful get rid of it" is the moment you may as well get rid of them all because to be honest it is the same damn thing.

However, I for one love the effect and it has both made the game beautiful and immersible, AND it has even helped them to optimize the jumping and session changes so sorry bud, but those effects are here to stay.

Well, let's see.

First, this is not on right click, it is on left click.

Second, "nerd boner" direct quote from Soundwave regarding the warp effect.

Third, as other threads have stated, 2 seconds of black screen is sometimes preferable to having the camera swing around wildly, some gate jump effect, followed by more camera panning.

I didn't mention ship reskinning, that is all you. The normal warp effect -- also all you. (I will note that they added the option to remove camera shake during warp at about the same time. A good thing™) Nebula art.... again, all you... (but it does make sense that each solar system has a nebula, right?)

You state that effects are all or nothing. My opinion is that that opinion is ridiculous. There is plenty of room to add options to turn things off (camera shake, captains Q... etc.)

So for clarity:

I'm not telling you to turn off your camera shake, but I am happy to have the option to do so.
I'm not telling you to not go into the captains quarters, but I am glad to have the option not to.
I'm not telling you to live without the gate warp effect, but i would like to be able to turn it off.
I'm not telling you to not use the radial menu, but I would like to be able to turn it off or move its trigger.

See? You, the fanboi, can get it all.... I'm simply asking for some options to turn some of it off.
