Double Down already knows the major W-space players; they don't need the forums to get in touch with someone about alliances. By them coming to the forums, there's little reason to think they're doing anything other than trolling, thus the responses they are receiving. Just be thankful thread isn't being locked for lack of content, though it does have a minor entertainment value.
