I have already noticed a smoother transition from death > pod. Maybe i'm wrong, but it sure felt that way.

Yep, I went in and attempted to do a relic site in a C3 in the new navy drake ^.^ I was greeted by the angry natives who quickly put me out of my misery. When my ship went boom there was no lag like usually, it was very smooth almost to the point it was like seeing my ship explode from my pod. As it explodes
