Everyone crapping on this idea in this thread: You're stupid. Stop being stupid.

I would love this on my SECOND (OMG) account full of industry alts, I recently brought up a 3rd one's training to be a little more productive but had to give up filling up Vs on the main there. This would be lovely for getting the lesser accounts up to speed.

The amount of crying over a handy account option in this thread, wow. I'm sorry a lot of you are bad at EVE.

Edit: I want to add I'm sorry some of you want to ***** for the sake of having something for your entitled self to complain about because your life is too boring. Not our fault, we want new features.

also. CCP, i thought you learned by having 2 options right next to each other. add game time and this right under each other is bound to fill up your pettion system!


This is perfect for me, I just consolidated 5 accounts to 2 accounts since most the alts were "done training". I never play more than 2 at once and don't need more than 2 training at once.

But if I decide I need to train something I can do it without stopping my mains training, and not incur the ongoing cost of 5 accounts, or 4 or 3.

You seem to suffer from a dearth of imagination. I can think of a VAST number of uses for this.

For instance, I have an account that just does industry. On that account I have one pilot that is deeply trained for S&I (invention skills, etc.) and two others that have the bare minimum for things like ME and copying.

This would let me train the other two for invention at the same time. I don't need to be able to play them at the same time, and I don't need to train them indefinitely. This is convenient, and saves me a transfer fee.

Just to add to this, another use that doesn't involve training up new alts is if you buy a character (Maybe a PVE one to fund your PVP character or vice versa) but you want to add to the character's skills without interrupting your main's. This change is nothing but useful to the community so I have no idea why people are bitching so much.

This is an outstanding feature!! This means that people can pay the going rate to train specific-use alts on their main's accounts (dictor, prober, frigate brawlers, traders, miner etc) and once it is done training it is on their main account without the 2-plex char xfer fee.
