Damn right. The Cyclone's tank is just not comparable to the Myrmidon's active tank. I mean, the Cyclone. The shield bonused, Minmatar BC. It has THE SAME AMOUNT OF MEDSLOTS. This sir, is ridiculous. Add a medslot to the Cyclone, remove one of the Myrmidon's medslot, add an additional lowslot to the Myrmidon, and you're done ;)

Myrm is supposed to be superior to Cyclone..

Edit... I'm not saying don't add a midslot to cyclone, just dont touch my f*cking myrm, or I will cut you (in game of course :) )

I agree that the myrm should not be touched but since this is a thread about how to balance the ships so that tier 1 and 2 and so on become fairly equal the Cyclone could use a buff, same with brutix, (another low maybe), ferox ( I guess another mid, some more pg and then hope the hybrid buff fixes the rest) and the prophecy ( I liked the suggestion about giving it bonuses to missiles).

But now, lets not forget those poor frigates that have so few slots they cant do anything properly, like the slasher and condor that both have 1 low and 2 mids, and actually all the T1 combat frigates need a buff to get them somewhere in line with the top tier frigs, rifter, merlin, punisher and tristan (or is it the incursus).

seriously, why not just get rid of all the ships and replace them with generic types. . . not all ships are equal nor should they be.

I've been wanting some reblancing for quite some time. I want to see other ships besides the ones that everyone currently flies. Make others more viable, add more variety to fights. More variety would be fun for me.

its not an attempt to make all of the ships equal (or even the same)

its an attempt to make more ships actually usable. the majority of t1 frigates and cruisers are just straight up bad. terrible. unusable.

buffing the unused t1 frigs and cruisers would bring more variety to the game, not less.

I'd like to see some more of the t1 frigs and cruisers having more unusual bonuses that might make you come back to them later in life. Like gas cloud harvesting bonuses, hacking or archaeology bonuses, hull repair bonus, bonus to repair drones... I dunno. I just get sick of flying the same ships all the time. Something that would give you an excuse to use a wider variety of ships, even if it's only for a hull repairer at a pos or something, would be cool.

Maybe the Caracal?

Prophecy should get a range bonus and be like a bigger zealot.

Ferox should get dmg bonus instead of resist

Myrm needs a 100 bandwidth, having 4 Ogre II's would not make it too powerful IMO.

Brutix needs another low slot and maybe some more cap.

Please buff some t1 Cruisers - would be very nice to use em much more for logistig use. Because skilling for logis is just very directional not the "normal way". So i think that Cruiser gangs could be much more dangerous Twisted

And please definetly bring back the dogfights!

nothing wrong with the myrm, we'd rather see the tier 1 ships buffed than the tier 2 ones nerfed.
