Just saying ...

You are actually pretty snarky and rude that I have seen Flake. Is that how most "Euro's" do things?

You would have to wait for the next anom spawn just like the miners have to or go to a new system.

You are kidding yourself i you think tha prices wouldn't change: just look at what is happening with ICE prices with the threat of ICE resource depletion in NULL/LO/HI SEC. Looks like many EUROs are not screaming about this idea yet like I thought they would ( epecially the bots) , maybe it should be implemented ASAP

yeah but you've taken a resource that's near infinite and reduced it's avaliability by giving it 2500 blocks per 4hrs.

where as with ore you've turned 1 belt every 24 hours in to 1 belt every 4 hours, and not all of the belts are mined out so you haven't changed the supply.

comparing apples to oranges will never end well.

It will only have an effect when asteroids in mission deadspaces get nerfed, too. Else I'd just move there to mine and spawn the belts I need myself.

I only mine in missions anyway, so I wouldn't even notice. But often there is more effort involved with mining in missions, so I'm not sure if they'd really need a nerf.

Hmm… has Fon Revendhort changed careers and started mining? That would at least create some kind of (very weak) connection between ore distribution and EURO.

While I do not disagree, I do not think it should be done the way ice has, where a belt can be cleared in an hour, then take 4 hours to respawn. It would crush high sec industry that does not have access to insta-re-spawn upgrades. CCP would suffer a MASSIVE subscription drop.

Yes, due to all the bot miners unsubbing their 23+ accounts at once.

This would not be a bad thing.

The industrialists who stayed would find themselves enjoying a great deal of wealth as people with enough autism to actually enjoy mining in EVE reap the benefits of not having to compete against every Chinese Isk farmer running a Python script.

not really, there's often 1, maybe 2 ice belts in a system, so 4 hours downtime is a lot.

where as there are what, 20+ asteroid belts in some systems? and a 4hr respawn is shorter than a daily respawn at downtime (yeah, 4 hours is shorter than 24, who knew?)

so i fail to see how asteroids spawning 6 times faster would crush high sec industry... if anything it means you could mine closer to jita instead of the arse end of lontrek to find a belt that isn't mined out within an hour of downtime.
