Love this app! :) Do you have any plans to pull out the old certificate system and add in the new masteries system?

And i love the icon. Don't change it ;)

The new certificates are done (including database changes), but ship mastery isn't. I don't have access to the download server, though, so I don't know when a new release will be out.

I've also fixed (or think I've fixed) a couple of other bugs, including the 'stuck' skill queue.

I sent you an error log that I'm getting.

It's hanging on the updating characters after first setting up API and Key. Both are correct as they work in GTKEVEmon and evemon on my windows vm.

Thanks for working on this project guys! I normally play on a PC and use EVEMon, but over the holidays I only have my MBP with me. This will make managing my training much, much more doable. As is traditional, Mac program interface superior to PC program. +1+1+1.

I didnt read all of the posts so please forgive me if I am reiterating something that was previously brought to light.

I did read all of the first and last page though.

I love the app as I am new MBP user. I searched for hours for evemon on mac as that is what I was accustomed to. I found this and love the simplicity that it was given. I dont care about the battle clinic loadouts or industry stuff there.

Back to my concern. I tried to make a place like normal in EVEMon. It wouldn't let me know sort it though. I normally just add the skills going down the list then sort by what will train the quickest. Or by name. Or primary/secondary(for remapping purposes).

Maybe I am just ******** and havent figured it out yet. Please assist me or let me know if this is viable for an update.

I know in a month or so there is supposed to be a new huge update so maybe then might be a good time to release it if not earlier.

Thank you for listening to my rant and plea.

You can contact me in game as well if you wish via EVE mail I will respond.

I love love love Vitality, but I am not a big fan of the app icon so I took a stab at creating a new one that follows the 10.9 aesthetics, I hope it is to your liking. I would give an ISK donation in gratitude for such a useful tool, but I am poor in game at the moment Sad so hopefully my talents will suffice as thanks.

Is there likely to be an update to Vitality to include new changes in rubicon such as the new weapon 'Tiericide' skill changes?

Love the app! Keep up the good work.

Hi,

just updated to 0.2.9 after I had skipped the previous version because of problems. I didn't uninstall the previous version and just dragged the new one into the applications folder (obviously wanted to keep existing skill plans).

Since the update, the characters don't update at all. I don't see any characters or skill plans. So I went in, deleted the database, deleted all char info as well (all in Library/Application Support/Vitality). The new database got pulled successfully, but the characters still don't update. I.e. I enter the api info in Preferences and the character names get pulled correctly. But as soon as Vitality tries to update the chars it just gets stuck, i.e. the 'updating characters' info at the bottom just stays there and keeps running that update for at least an hour and makes no progress.

Try deleting the cache database as well in ~/Library/Caches/org.Vitality and the preferences from ~/Library/Preferences/org.Vitality.plist. You will need to re-add your characters and API keys.

If your still having problems, open the Console application (found in Utilities) and see if Vitality logs any error messages.

Tried deleting it all, no effect, same behavior.

Console has the following when opening vitality:

where the dots stand for a long list of replicated lines with that 'Query error'. Note that I reloaded the database as well and deleting everything before.

This happens already before any character update in vitality starts...

I am also having a similar problem as Sendar. I had also removed the items in the Library/Application Support/Vitality folder just to see if it would help. It did not. It looks like it downloads the Character info, then I get the following query errors: ****** = folders with personal names/API key

There is a new version of Vitality (with some caveats).

https://github.com/sixones/vitality/releases/download/v0.2.9a_db/Vitality.zip

If the direct link doesn't work, go to https://github.com/sixones/vitality/releases and download the "DB Pref option" version.

You will also need to go the the Database tab of the Preferences window and change the two new URL fields to point to:

Database URL: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/y4tcvfz5b2hask4/database.sql.bz2?dl=1
XML URL: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/y4tcvfz5b2hask4/database.sql.bz2?dl=1

After updating the URL's, quit Vitality and restart. Or you can try using the "Check for Updates…" menu item under the Vitality menu.

This isn't the best way to release this, but it's all I have available. Those Dropbox links are my personal account and since I don't know what kind of limits Dropbox sets on bandwidth, they could stop working if too many people try to download them. With the changes to the DB pref pane I can look at alternative hosting locations.

If you have a working Vitality, you might want to hold off on this until it's been better tested. Or at least back up your existing data first. That would be the app, plus ~/Library/Application Support/Vitality and ~/Library/Preferences/org.Vitality.plist

Tried it, but doesn't work. I use OS X 10.6.8. Opening Vitality results in a crash and the 'report problem to apple' dialogue before any Vitality related window opens.

I guess there relevant part from the diagnostic output is this:

Dyld Error Message:
Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSTableCellView
Referenced from: /Applications/Vitality.app/Contents/MacOS/Vitality
Expected in: /System/Library/Frameworks/AppKit.framework/Versions/C/AppKit

But if you need more info, just let me know.

Thanks for the work!!!!

Once Vitality is up and running all seems to work well.
Only issues atm are:

- It keeps re-downloading the Database every time I start Vitality.
- Database version also says it's Odyssey 1.1.0
- Database size says it's 31.06 MB, but download is only around 2 MB
(this is using the provided links you gave above)

Thanks for your efforts and keeping this updated!
Much appreciated!

*Edit*
For the record, I'm using OSX 10.9.1

Also forgot to mention I have X11 installed; not sure if that matters or not. Blink

Latest version of Vitality has been deployed with Rubicon support, if the update is not detected you will need to manually download it from; http://labs.sixones.com/vitality/builds/vitality-0.2.10.zip

Sorry for the delay guys!
