Vitality, a fork of Mac Eve Tools

Since Mac Eve Tools is no longer being developed and doesn't work with the latest API changes, I have made a working fork called Vitality. The current version has very little changed from MET, apart from supporting the new API authentication methods, a bunch of changes to allow the latest database to work correctly and support for modules in the skill planner. Will try to keep the database up to date and might add some new features if I get time.

Should work on OS X 10.4+, though I've only been able to test on 10.6 and 10.8.

Release notes
0.2.10 - Rubicon support, various updates.
0.2.9 - Odyssey 1.1 database support, and various bug fixes.
0.2.8 - Restored right click context menu on skills, certificates, ships and modules in the skill planner. Updated skill planner to clear the selected row correctly when switching tabs. Fixed issue in the character sheet when hiding / revealing skill groups. Added columns to the skill plan view for Primary and Secondary attributes (disabled by default). Updated icons to use higher resolution versions. Experimental system menu bar for quick look of current characters training queue (disabled by default).
0.2.7 - Updated database for Odyssey 1.0.0.
0.2.6 - Fixed certificate names, updated certificate listings to correctly display sub-groups. Added support for exporting plans to text via the clipboard. Moved plans export menu into a unified button. Once again broke the updates!
0.2.5 - Added error handling around API communication when trying to add an account. Cleaned up various compiler warnings. Added correct public key for update verification - sorry all, broke the updates from 0.2.4 you will have to download manually.
0.2.4 - Updated API authentication to use EVE's new format. Updated database structure for latest EVE content database support. Added module listings to skill planner. Removed file icon from displaying in main window. Updated default toolbar layout to place characters on the right. General UI layout improvements. Updated skill, certificate and ship panels to stay open when app loses focus. Moved image hosting to the official EVE image server. Fixed ship and module from displaying raw HTML.

Ok, pretty major feature problem - can't view information on anything anymore. Skills, ships, etc. Right click in the list on the left, select name, no dialogue box pops up.

Please check into this, gonna have to go back to MET without it. Thanks!

- hitting refresh multiple times, nothing happened

no character selection visible

Are you using any firewall / antivirus software that could be preventing Vitality from communicating with EVE and whats your version of OS X? Make sure the API key is the new format with the long verification code and key ID - the old style with the user id won't work!

Thats a strange one, im testing on the same OS X version and cant seem to replicate the problem. Couple of questions to help me narrow it down, does the dialog open correctly in MET and are you using an English language under OS X?

Fyi, the 0.2.5 Update reports that it is improperly signed.

Sorry about this, the 0.2.4 release included the incorrect update key. You will have to download and upgrade manually to 0.2.5 unfortunately as I dont have a copy of the MET private key to sign new updates against.

(Just for reference, Eoka sent me a new build that fixed the problem but introduced a new one. But, lo and behold, when I opened the previous build, the old one started working flawlessly.)
