i think it would be a good idea if added to the guard menu on drone control was a fleet option so they could guard the whole fleet instead of just 1 person

Yeah, being able to tell your drones to guard someone else instead of just you would be nice I guess but, what if they are guarding someone else and you need them to come back to you to pop a rat that just warped in on top of your head...

... and they are 85 Km from you?

Add a feature that allows you to tell the drones who to orbit? I would hope that the guard fleet feature includes guarding you (their "mothership") too; a checkbox like the focus fire option and/or a right-click that says orbit player x which includes you in the list? Would be nice if the focus fire option focused their fire onto the target that the guarded ship was attacking.

i dont know about the rest, but guarding the fleet option would RAWK!

a group of miners with either a rorqual or an orca in belt, someone comes in the wreak havoc...
the moment the become aggressive, ALL drones automatically go after them? nice.

5 sentries form the rorqual, 2 sentries from each exhumer.... thats alot of "feel good" for the encroaching bad guy.

That is interesting idea.

However, to avoid abuse the drones should switch targets to always go after the closest hostile entity (enemy drone, ships, whatever) to your ship. Well, perhaps not every second jerking around but check it, say, every 15 or 20 sec or so.
