Undock breaks after you attempt to launch a ship that has been altered slot wise.
By 'breaks' I mean it doesn't function at all even after changing to an unaffected ship (the one I originally docked in).

Targets in rows? Sooo very nice! Now I can keep my friendly targets in a separate row. ♥♥

Really like the blinky icon as ship is dying!

Thank you for adding an option to use radial menu with a different mouse button!

I enjoy the new messages above the HUD for Hull critical and such. It adds urgency.

Look ma, no negativity in this post!

Given the amount of complaining over the camera panning after entering a system, and the fact that you recognized this was bad and removed it, why did you go ahead and add it to the death animation?

Forced camera panning/focus is bad, it's irritating, and it's undesirable, especially if it's the result of something the player did not initiate. Get rid of it.

Bumping this.

So it eventually patches? If if it does then its and issue with the launcher not displaying progress when not the focus of your computer mouse. I have noticed the same thing but if you have a slower connection it would show up worse.

Any button push stops the animation.

Is the warp tunnel when jumping a stargate supposed to be visible prior to the gate actually jumping you?

This seems odd..

No. I probably should have. This is, though, the exact same bug CCP had with the last round of ship balancing so it should not have occurred at all this time.

The new camera effect while jumping a stargate is awesome...... but very annoying too past the 4 or 5 jumps, as I can't move the camera when I begin to jump, that I do sometimes to get a last view of a red blob or whatever the reason. Is there any way to disable this effect ?

Indeed there are many advantages on old system that we're loosing, like the one you just mentioned or just when you cross some target while in warp or other funky stuff.

Three points, for now:

1. Who decided that making the camera point at selected items was a good idea? Furthermore, who decided that there should be no apparent way of disabling this behavior? First I tried the "reset camera" button, but that just unfocuses from the current selected item: the next item you click on will re-align the camera. I tried the graphics settings page. I tried the general settings page. I cannot find an option for "auto-tracking." Furthermore, when I enable the "advanced camera functions," there are no options in the general context menu, and selecting "set as parent / interest" when using the context menu on another ship causes the camera to spazz out and jitter furiously as the old tracking thing competes with the new one.

Guys, this "feature" is god-awful, should not be enabled by default, and at the very least needs some kind of accessible way of disabling it. I tried for about ten minutes to find a way to turn it off, but to no avail. Then "the socket was closed" and I couldn't bring myself to bother restarting the client. Ughhhhh.

2. I don't like the new launcher. Regardless of what it actually does, it makes it feel like there are more steps to logging in. Also, why does it sit there and validate the client for like ten minutes on most launches? It's an irritating waste of time compared to the old launcher which instantly validated and promptly vanished when there was no patch to apply.

3. That jump effect is going to get really old really fast. A disable option would be great so I don't hate this game everytime I need to travel more than 5 jumps.

Edit: I lied, it's four thoughts.

4. Make the launcher remember the username you last used, like the client does. Having to type my username every time is :effort: and the "drop down" icon on the side of the name field is non-functional.

+1

It's "cool" but after a just a few jumps it gets irritating.

(IMO much more irritating than a status bar)

The reason I don't care for it is because it just feels out of place to me. Basically I'm flying in (whatever camera mode I choose) and then suddenly when I jump, I'm forced into a 1st-person perspective for a few seconds. I personally liked it when my ship disappeared into space and I saw the jump fire or whatever you call it.

Please leave it in the game but allow us to disable it.
