AAR autoreload NEEDS FIXING

I've started to work around my own ineptitude by not carrying additional nanite charges. I have them in stations scattered about my roaming regions so can easily collect more if I survive the fight (need to dock to repair anyway).

For frigates at least I rarely have a fight that lasts longer than a minute and never have one that would allow me the luxury of a one minute reload.

I so would not do that :P

I've had a few chances to put the paste in while splitting up groups.

Which reminds me, reload timer would be awesome on these things.. In a fight its hard to get a feel for 60 seconds =<

Yeah, a reload timer would make me a lot more comfortable.

Power to the people (and their UI) :).

Using tablet, typoes are common and I'm not going to fix them all.

No. Having auto-reload set to 'on' by default helps separate the players who know what they're doing from a large group of players including: those who don't know what they're doing, the forgetful pilots, the mis-click pilots, the "get excited and make mistakes" pilots, etc...

tl;dr
default = on helps separate the best from the rest.

That's incredibly stupid.

CCP, please remove auto-reload and auto-repeat from Swiftstrike1's account. He doesn't need UI assistance.

See what I did there? It is poor design and should be fixed. The fact that you can work around it would cover all manner of UI sins if that were an appropriate excuse.

I've started doing this now (splitting up groups is great) and also using the paste to rep damage between bouts much more. So now I just have to remember to disable the reload.

And I still forget...

I support this sensible proposal even though:

a) Its a bit like spoiled brat whining for a favor and

b) I dont use them myself -currently at least- thus I am likely to benefit from current state of play

... because fair is fair.
