Oh and why is it taking so long? Is this your customer service standards? To let your paying customers wait why you fix problems that shouldn't be happening in the first place?

I'd quit the game immediately if an extended DT causes you to post rubbish like that.

3 different accounts on 3 separate computers and i constantly get this on all. Shocked

Only started happening since the launcher change. (btw please change it back 'it sucks')
Used to get this about 4 years ago and thought it was a thing of the past but meh.

Will be suspending my accounts until ccp fix, as i aint paying to lose ships again due to 'Socket Closed' Ugh

And what about the repeated disconnections during the morning? Extended DT doesn't bother me but paying for a product that doesn't work proper does bother me.

Same problem here, it started before todays DT. The Launcher decided to update, and after that all hell broke loose. Can't stay online longer than 15min. If I tracert the IP, nothing pops up out of the ordinary. Some ppl say its because we use Wireless, then why was it ok yesterday ? Also since this is a worldwide problem, it's hard to blame our connections now is it ?

I'm playing from all the way out in Hawaii Roll It definitely isn't an ISP issue, as it is a port or CCP-end server issue...
Please fix this soon. We love this game far too much for it to be treating us like this.

Issue started just yesterday (5/30) within 2 hours before downtime for me and several (thousand) others.

Just lost a ship while I was going to engage a WT in Fw plex. This issue is old enough now. But I see more and more people having it. I do hope they will take a serious and prompt look at it. As many others, I will not pay a sub to lose ships this way.

Now i can't keep 1 account connected for more than a couple of minutes, let alone 3.

YET i can play any other game i own with no issues

This is the same thing that started for me at my first post in this topic, you let me spend almost 40 euro to internal contact with my isp to see where the solution is. Now it seems to be that the faulty stuff realy broke down that caused this issue. It feels a bit like honesty is far away and I feel like being send in the bush.

The time spend to figure out a solution isn't included in this, but where can I send the bill? My guts tell me it might be your ISP that will be receiving it.


EDIT:

Concidered what is known now, this previous post can be ignored. I've got the feeling my issue is somehow related to previous or another attack. When under attack, you can't always hand out vital information.
And i guess that the bill should be send to the attacker.

since the server went offline a couple hours ago every time i try and log in now it gets just after the log in screen and then goes socket closed and kicks me out

same thing happening to me. I can't even log on.
get socket closed error after about 10 seconds, the screen doesn't even load.

Just re subbed one account today to try Eve again. These kind of technical issues are just above and beyond some other reservations I have about the game. Guess I was wrong to re sub it's time to move on for good.

I try to log in today and my launcher is in Russian or Polish even though its set to English.

WTF is going on Evil

Contacted my isp about the connection issues to eve and guess what after costing me a fortune on the phone it ain't their issue.

So who's fault is it ?

I run WIn8 and since this morning i get Socket closet in max 10 min of login, sometimes when trying to login.I had some problems in the past, maybe once a day, but now i can't do anything.I'm from Romania and my ISP is RDS&RCS.
Restarted the pc, router, updated the OS, drivers, ran the repair exe and from what i can tell from the logs in the router, the internet conexion didn't drop.

I know that there is no support for Win8, but untill this morning all was ok.Untill they fix this problem i'll not be able to do anything in the game.It sucks...i don't want rewards for the time the game is broke, i want to have fun.
