hreh it's been 8 years already o_O
still keep running into people who started playing because of the heist, always fun :)

anyways I been reminiscing a bit about it since I decided to do a write up for eve true stories;

It happened before I came into the game in 2006, but everyone was still talking about it. At that time, 30 billion ISK was still an unimaginable amount of ISK. Makes you realize how far EVE has come in those 8 years. Blink

Who hasn't heard of it? I started playing early 2009 and people were still talking about it. Not so much these days though.

30 billion at that point was a time having a battleship and a few hundred was considered quite stupidly rich.
