to be fair its a bank holiday in the UK, they could have picked a better day for extended DT. Like tuesday, which has been the day for extended downtimes since forever

besides, the downtime is nearly over now and nobody got hurt.

Damn forums did eat my reply but im resiliant i just type it again.

No im not mad i was actually happy, i needed to go buy some food anyhow and my vodka supply was running low also.


And before you ask im back from shop and spending time here till serves get back up Blink

So basically you are QQ'ing because YOU have a bank holiday and can't play EVE?
I don't have this bank holiday since I don't live in UK.
But I guess I'm going to check every holiday for the next 20 years from now on to make sure I'm complaining to all those irrelevant people at the official irrelevant forum of EVE online about a completely irrelevant bank holiday on which coincidentally CCP is patching things so the game WE are playing is getting BETTER.

Please put on your tinfoil suits since you are getting too much radiation. But on the other side that's the price you pay if you live in the center of the universe.

Odyssey will probably be 24 hours plus sudden downtime for hotfixes over the next week.

it can stay offline for all i care

eve should not go down just because of a little ps3 game
if they cant patch dust without taking eve offline then they should give up on dust

EVE & Dust are now connected, that was the entire point of Dust in the first place. It doesn't matter if you don't like it, it's something you'll just have to get over.

No thats the biggest joke. Announcing it at a time when CCP know full well that a lot of the userbase will only see it after the DT has started, CCP customer relations still sux big time.

Now next time Give us a little warning that it is coming, you know maybe 24hours would be nice at a minimum. First I had heard about the patch was when I got home from work at 1 hour before normal DT when I tried to login. GGRRRRRR

they should patch both games at the same time and give us better notice

EVE is also getting proper actual content patched, apparently sh*ts going down in Molden Heath pretty soon.

Normally I agree with most of your posts Tippia, but today there is a public holiday in the UK, which means no work or school. Lots of players wanting to get some Eve time in....

Would not have taken much thought to check, and arrange a patch such as this to be performed, for example... tomorrow!


If ccp took every national holiday in consideration when deploying patches....nothing would ever get done.
