I don't think anyone really cares if it was or wasn't a scripted event. The point was for people to have fun, and from what I seen on Twitch, and here on the forums, people did. Mission accomplished. Lol

It was a player organized event wasn't it? So of course it was scripted, to some degree.

Eve Player (No CCP Affiliation): "Hey everyone bring a Rifter and get 1000 people to come and I'll undock my Nyx and let you kill it for the lolz."

See there's your script.

Nothing to do with the Nyx in that trailer, that's just you being ignorant.

Edit: Not sure if the Nyx was docked just assuming it is the Nyx people were thinking got docked in a station by CCP on request of the owner which didn't happen and would never happen except in a case of reimbursement.

I can't wait to watch this on the new EVE TV Show.

Act 1 - Rifters everywhere! Get to know those plucky pilots of New Eden.

Act 2 - The diabolical Marlona Sky appears in her Nyx! Oh noes, what will our motley crew of frigate friends do?!

Act 3 - With the Nyx destroyed and the universe saved... /plot twist/ Melvin discovers that it is all a great conspiracy. Ah my head just exploded.

Leading to next week's episode... who really is Melvin and why is he the most dangerous man in New Eden.

OP most likely tried to make it to the event at the last minute and died on the gate and is mad about it.

As far as tears go, there was some people a bit upset at PL for repairing me. But they all knew something like that might happen so no big deal. I would have to say any so called 'tears' were easily eclipsed by the tears and rage from PL when I hit the self destruct button in the FOATR channel and local.

Still, I think people are exaggerating a bit on who shed what. What is no exaggeration is everyone had fun, including me. Smile

I'm not sure any of our members cried when you hit the SD button. Sure, we would have been fine with farming frigates(and later rzr lokis) for another few hours, but I definitely wasn't unhappy with anything that happened.

Either way, I myself had a great time, and sounds like everyone else for he most part had fun as well.

Yeah, I know - trolling PL wasn't the real reason you hit the "Do Not Push" button. The side effects were amusing anyway. And even though I lagged like a big lazy dog, I still had fun - Even if I *was* playing 'Flying Dutchman' for about an hour.
