Its not the red star that bothers me.

Its the fact that we are 4000 years in the future and *this* is the best fashion has to offer? I can get that at the local junk, clothing bin.

yk

This just shows the resilience men's fashion has. It is comforting to know that in the far far future we will still be able to wear shorts and Ts and still not give a truck.

You see in the real world a red star is a symbol of authoritarian dictatorships like for example the Communist China, that under Mao had a death count that goes up to 60 million. USSR, that under Stalin had a death count that goes up to 20 million, and others like Cuba and Vietnam.
All of these quite the opposite of freedom and brotherhood.

666!!

It's all obviously part of a satanic plot.

Contrary to popular interpretation, "666" is not the number of the devil.... it clearly says in Revalation, that 666 represents mankind, and that "the beast" will take on that number as his own, when he declares himself ruler of all mankind.

actually, what's really funny about the red star shirt being a gift to everyone...is that i bought one a long time ago at full price. X

Heh, I just bought this one for this new portrait i've been using since May 1st (date coincidence not intended). Now I just got another female one which i may use for some other character, and a male one I won't be using for a while...

But admittedly I am feeling a bit silly now with this everyone-and-their-neighbor shirt. What?

If you're so knowledgeable, then you should know that the number of the beast is actually 616, according to Papyrus 115, and the belief in number 666 come from inaccuracies in the greek translations, 666 being a triangular number (1+2+3+4+5+6+(...)+35+36= 666) and 888 being Jesuschrist's number.

And if it was a Lion you could complain about the death-toll and social upheaval caused by the British, Spanish etc. Empires.
And If it was an Eagle you could complain about the death-toll and social upheaval caused by the Roman, US etc. Empires.
And if it was a Fleur-de-Lis you could complain about the death-toll and social upheaval caused by the French Empire.
And if it was a Cross you could complain about the death-toll and social upheaval caused by Christian fanatics.
And if it was a Crescent you could complain about the death-toll and social upheaval caused by Muslim fanatics.
And if it was a Star of David you could complain about the death-toll and social upheaval caused by Jewish fanatics.

If we were forced to be PC about our symbolisms then the only one available to us is a black dot on a white background (all colours are out due to same restrictions) .. how boring would that be?

Why does the dot have to be black? You trying to symbolize black minority oppression by the white majority?

Heineken tastes about as good as it presumably feels like living under a totalitarian regime so is a very appropriate symbol for them if you ask me Smile

*looks at his magic crystal ball*

This thing foretold the empress coming you know?+ So shush....i see...ah yes.

It will be that the "da comrade" red stars and the "Flied rice" red stars will have a rather larege argument over which one the red star represents. This will lead to the Shirt Wars of YC 106, espcecially after the Casldari release their own green star(representing money, power and all around capitalism) and join in on the star.

Minmatar won't join the fighting until the very end, due to an emergency lack of duct tape in their ranks and the shirts low tolerance to scrap metal surroundings.

The winner is unclear, but everyone loses part of themselves.

Feel free to reprocess this propagandistic T-shirt in enraged disgust.
Also please make petition to change Flag of California, because it's clearly symbolizes vicious communist bear marching on green 'Murican soil under evil communist Red Star. This is unacceptable, comrade!

The Nazi's (read homocidal german party who started WW2) didn't use the Swastika. Their symbol was in mirror image of a Swastika. I know your trying to be sarcastic but a Swastika actually is a symbol for tolerance and peace. It means literally "being good", in a moral way, if I remember rightly

Also, a Red Star is just a Red Star. Nuff said.
