Hi there,

I want to go back to Factional Warfare after nearly one year away from EVE ... used to fly a Stealthbomber (Purifier) for Missions and LP farming and occasionally roam with fleet in a Malediction or Sacrilege to look for targets.

But much has changed since then I hear and I'd like to know what's new and what ship is best to train (have amarr t3 skills but happy to train something else next since I've got good missile as well as gunnery skills) and fit before rejoining the militia/FW.

Are missiosn still the same? How do you get the most out of FW these days?

Thanks for your help!

When will ppl understand that their is no 'Best' Ship?

It is all situational. One ship might be the prefect ship for a certain situation while at the same time a horrible choice for another. Add to that that the same ship can be fitted correctly for a certain situation AND THE SAME SHIP fitted incorrectly for the SAME situation can be wrong.

There is no 'Best' ship. You have to adjust the ships and flying method to the situation.

Same goes for race, ammo etc. etc.

Ok, let me rephrase it then: what is a good ship and fit and strategy to farm ISK / LPs with Factional Warfare?

I know I'm asking a lot but a few pointers on where to start is better then just saying "doesn't exist" ....

Any of the T1 frigates are good for farming plexes. Just remember that the timer doesn't count down if you have either warp core stabs or a cloak fitted to your ship.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

best ship is that works best on most situations. I used arty thrasher but now it does not fit in all plexes Sad

The best ship currently is the Hookbil. This might change with the next expansion but at the moment it provides good speed with good range control (e.g. dual web) and good dps.

Atron or Kestrel.

Fit for max speed and gank. They're dirt cheap, pack a punch, and are almost always underestimated.

Yeah... that T3 you have is next to useless for general FW shenanigans... but don't let that stop you from using it! Prove us wrong!!
