The "solution" to Jita congestion.

Then everyone will just goto Amarr or some other major hub...

I someone could figure out how to give players more of a reason to sell stuff else where that would fix the problem.

Actually come to think of it, sales tax could be upped in systems that have a large daily trade volume, and stations in systems with poor trade could pay interest on all sales instead until it balances out at 0.0% and starts charging again. It would also provide a great method to remove isk from the game providing there are still many selling in busy super hubs.

Why are people so mad that Jita exists? Its like people want to stomp all over the sandcastle the majority of the player base built. Its like you are mad because people want a single place to buy and sell goods. I don't see the outrage of NYC being the place to buy and sell stocks.

Hell, its not that hard to train up remote buy and sell skills and just courier everything in and out of Jita if you are so above trading as a profession.

Red Frog offers bargin prices on hauling stuff. See... Never have to go to Jita again.

Use other two systems? You'll be lucky if 10% of the traders move to Jita IV - 4 Caldari Business Tribunal Bureau... that station is so close to our beloved Jita 4-4 that I was tempted to just sit in an interceptor and MWD to it from Caldari Navy Assembly Plant (and I did Lol)

Sadly he's correct, people will sit and spam the Jump option at one of the entrance points for ages just to sell in Jita. Their loss in the end.

The people determine the market hubs not the State. If you do not want Jita to be a trade hub stop trading there.

Just my 'Practical' opinion about the DAILY PROBLEMS(!!!!) we seem to encounter with that JITA IV: I experience it as very frustrating and very irritating that I could not even buy the things I want f0or days now , since JITA Always seems to be CLOSED???

What do they expect me to do? That I now am forced to buy for instance the shields I want somewhere else for eceeding prices ...and thus pay 200 mln more??? I think not! I see no alternative else than just to logg out and logg in as from a week of todays date hoping that 'the hardware problems" might be solved at that time. Byeeeeeeeeee

And do not forget, for most modules etc. JITA is the only serioyus place to buy...best prices ( I should add: JITA IV sells for the normal prices, agreeable to me and all others).

First entry for this topic was made 5/5/2013....seems nothing changed as for JITA IV as from then...regrettably. Is this problem even been taken serious???

Wouldn't work, most scammers that are no bots trade aswell. I'd say there's about 25-75 scammers in system depending on what time it is, while there's 100reds of people waiting on the gates. Even if local would be removed there would still be bots trying to chat/trade with people. So there's no point in removing it.

Want to free some space? Report the bots.

-A more creative idea would be increasing warpspeed in system(if that doesn't cause additional tidi), people could get to the station and leave the system faster.
-Same with alignspeed but that would make the suiciders/pvpers mad so I'm against it.
-Then ofc there's getting rid of spam- and marketbots.
-Removing idle players on gates/in station by no longer allowing autopilot to jump into jita.
-CCP could remove the sites that currently spawn in the system.

Unless I fail EVE history, that was exactly what CCP did to Yulai at one point. Instead, Jita has risen.

My solution?

My solution would be to have a clear skies incident with sending a Nyx or Avatar to crash into Jita 4-4. Why move when you can get rid of it.

Incursions in high sec do not interfere with gate travel, stations, or trading. Anyone going to Jita to buy and sell would just ignore an incursion.

Trade hubs develop for a reason: One stop shopping is convenient and fast. Time is money, so not having to fly about is worth a little extra.
