You can't even scrape together enough imagination to think of something new to say. Your OP is 2 vague sentences with absolutely zero depth followed by the repeat catch word of imagination.

Imagination

Imagination.

I've seen more imagination come from the Black Eyed Peas.

And you know what the sad part is? If you actually used real world space physics the simulations that you could imagine yourself in would be so much cooler, but unfortunately your imagination is too 2 dimensional. You go ahead and use your imagination, I'll join the group that's making their imaginations a reality.

the topic was about your own imagination, if you don't see any then there is nothing you can vision yourself, don't blame me for that

That's the worst part about all of this, is that you keep telling people to use their own imagination but you aren't even doing it yourself; you took the concepts and ideas of a group and ran with it. I at least can say that I thought up, conceptualized, and designed my own space craft. My imagination was used, yours had to be borrowed.

it seems people lost it when i did say "simulations like eve" they did not even get to the important part, and that it is all about preparing our mind and imagining things to come... worrisome how people miss the main part just because they want to find an error in what somebody did say

Our minds don't need any 'preparing.' I'm ALREADY far more qualified than you will ever be - And there are tens of thousands more like me all over the world. We didn't need a fake-physics game to become prepared. We went out and actually put our collective backsidse in the best possible simulator for long-term spaceflight you can find inside a gravity well: Nuclear submarines.

Your 'imagination' is small and weak and ill-informed.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Early days yet. Give the technology and imagination more time... Lol

I wanted to be an inventor, I dismantled all my toys and put them back together again.

And an astronaut.

That's going to be the tricky one Big smile

They go great together actually. One of the biggest things they look for in potential recruits are out of the box thinkers. It's the ability to take a pile of random items and be able to make something of it.

That was my favourite scene out of Apollo 13.

Of course, those were engineers, not astronauts - The astronuts were military test pilots - Not precisely the same thing (though not entirely different, either)

Well back then they were strictly military and USAF. Current astronauts have come from previous fields of science, medical, engineering, and even education.

How people imagine the future has, by looking at history, been wrong practically without exception. The 20th century "house of the future" had huge computers, robots, all glossy-white surfaces etc. What actually happened was computers got much smaller, not bigger. Take 2001, the size of Hal, for example. We certainly don't have AI, but we have much smaller computers.

A lot of sci-fi is just the present writ large.

2001 did have tablets though.

EVE realistically depicts space about as well as Super Mario Bros. depicts plumbing.

By the time we actually get our technology on the level of EVE, we will all have been dead thousands of years ago and EVE will be a vague footnote in the history of video games, and that's if it's lucky.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

And for extra credit:

Randomly throw the main breaker in the house and scream "Reactor Scram! Rig for Reduced Electrical!" Have family members go through the house turning off all switches and unplugging all appliances. Trip all sub-breakers manually. Once that is done, announce "Performing a fast recovery startup!" Close the main breaker. ask for condition report from all rooms in the house. Close each sub-breaker, asking for reports from all rooms again after each breaker is closed. Once all breakers are closed, announce "The Reactor is Critical. Secure from Reduced Electrical." Have family members plug in/turn on all disconnected or switched-off electrical loads and appliances.

All that sounded like an episode from Das Boot.

Because Das Boot is the most excellent submarine movie. Ever.

Yeah it was quite good. Even ex-German U-Boaters said it is how it was for them.

And at the shock end, even though they were the enemy of my country, I felt sooo sorry for them, and for the boat.

Such is the power of well crafted movie making.
