I recently watched a TED video about a team that has developed a system for engineering human organs of all shapes and sizes from kidneys to livers to bladders; it's absolutely amazing what is being done to help people in need nowadays.

Meh, past 25 cm or thereabouts in length it's kind of pointless. Girth and surface shape on the other hand...

Yes 25 cm is a good starting point. Anything below that is of no use.
