why not make autocannons fire like in the Origin trailer? make the reload 15 - 20 secs and have the rounds pump out at a high rate? to make it less OP maybe drop the damage potential and/or range. sure you would use ammo left and right but just imagine the damage output.

Yes.... let's make an already broken-a** weapons system even more broken.

Isn't it enough that they don't need a drop of capacitor to operate and cycle faster than any other weapon in EVE?

or, we can make them VISUALLY act like that, while still using the old timer cycle.

I mean, that'd be pretty cool. The guns firing as long as they are active.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

I really don't think that more Burst dmg on Autocannons is what eve needs... There is allready too much of it in the game.

The autocannons need only one improvement, MORE DAKKA!

Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene V - Moon 4 - Duvolle Labs Factory. Hybrid charges, Projectile ammo, Missiles, Drones, Ships, Need'em? We have'em, at affordable prices. Pop in at our Ammo Shop in sunny Alentene.

Hey, aren't you the guy that spent 1.2b to "expose" an ISK doubler? You didn't even bother to read the rules. :/

Anyway, on topic. Of course they don't need capacitor. They run on people power. Yes, each autocannon is filled with little people firing the guns. Little Minmatar...little slaves...

The barrels are just full of people firing Uzis

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

autocannons already have enough advantages compared to others and if you want CCP to maake them even more powerfull nobody will want to fly the others
Better that they have a good look at rail guns first before doing something with the others

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

Yes! And Beam lasers maintain their beam until they are deactivated. That would make melting targets much more visually satisfying.

I thought exactly the same when I saw the trailer : "That's what autocannons should look like !"

Lol, now I wanna strap space orks on my missiles and use then as enter commandos.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

This is what I imagine it'd be like.

This is what we get.

Didn't weapons systems just see a big rebalance? Or is that an ongoing process?

Balancing is always a ongoing process. It's like tightrope walking, just with the safety line tied around your neck.
