Always nice to hear from people.

More people need to comment about why they did not vote, or what they did not like about the elections or the previous CSM.

Only through comments can problems be fixed.

It is a game dude! Why do you think it is a problem if players choose to not vote? I know you are fond of dropping the numbers that do not support your position, suppose none of your straw man questions about why people did not vote are valid?

Do you think it possible that with a number of non-english speaking players from around the world, a number of players who don't give a rats behind about any political anything, and a number of players who just want to play EVE that expecting voter participation to climb year after year might have been unrealistic?

If it's not broke don't fix it, and just because it didn't come out the way you wanted don't try to fix it. The problem seems to be your lack of acceptance of the fact that the majority of the players who made the choice to vote did not vote in the manner you wanted them to. That's not CSM7's problem, perhaps not so much CCP's problem, that's your problem .... deal with it.

Power To The Players!

That is a lot of words, to say you don't want to hear peoples opinions.
I have never really cared how players vote, as long as they vote. If you read the voting forums you could see that. So please don't project your own inadequacies onto me.

Yes some people just plain don't vote. Yes there are non-english speaking players and more needs to be done to reach them.

The CSM is the voice of the players and I personally would like to see as many of those voices heard as possible. The more people that vote the more representative the council is of EvE, the more weight that voice has and on top of all that the better a PR tool it is for CCP.

As to it not being broken, now you are just dribbling, the voting takes a major down turn after years of steady growth, but you just say "If it's not broke don't fix it"

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Are you incapable of grasping a new concept? You don't care who they vote for as long as they vote? Who made you king? Get over yourself, nothing ever goes up without coming down except self righteous windbags who need to "fix" other players so they vote.

It'll be interesting to see how many partial ballots and how many donkey vote/kitchen sink votes there are vs. organized slate votes.

According to Poetic Stanziel (the Glen Beck to your Orly Taitz) math the % is down because there's over 50k new accounts on TQ. Yes, I'm sure CCP is absolutely scrambling to find a way to spin that positively...

I don't know why the dev blog is delayed but I doubt the reason is remotely sinister, mostly because there's no reason to be and it would take considerable work to do for no imaginable gain.

The only thing lower than the voter turnout is the percentage of players who care about voter turnout.

No one made me king, but unlike you I would like to see the CSM, the voice of the players, actually be representative of the Majority of players and how do we know what they want? We get them involved in the voting process and in the forums. How? By making the CSM more appealing to them and educating them as to why they should vote.

Yes the current situation does better for the organised blocs, so they have a vested interest in keeping it that way but even they did not want the STV system originally, now that Null has 10 members on the CSM via it, they seem ok with it.

So you seem more like the self righteous windbag, happy keeping things as they are now.

There is no reason for CSM7 to hide who actually supported the STV, except you, Two Step and Trebor. So if it is nothing sinister why don't you come out and tell us?

Again you just say things and pretend they are facts .....

I have said nothing to suggest that i do not want the CSM to be the voice of the players, or to not be representative of the majority of players, in fact I have said quite the opposite.

In fact i engaged in a lively discussion with The Mittani and some of his supporters right here in these forums when he redefined constituent to mean only the people who voted for him.

So my position and consistent stance is indeed verifiable beyond just this election cycle. However since i didn't agree with your extreme antics and verbal tantrums you simply created an alternate reality and spoke to that.

Who is this royal "we" you are referring to?

Surprise surprise large groups of players who fly together have more collective voter clout then smaller groups, stop the presses who would have thought such a think possible!

Well obviously not you.

You seem content for the CSM to wallow in minority, fighting thing that would improve CSMs appearance to the non-voter, while going on about how enlightened you are.

I am optimistic, I think CSM8 can be the best most effective CSM we have had, I want them to have my support to try. I did not vote for everyone who won but I have an interest in them all being successful.

You seem like such an unhappy person, this is a game you should be enjoying yourself. I am, lol, just declared war on some annoying pukes. My strategy is to keep the wardec going for about a month or two, surprising how foolish pilots get with the passage of a little time, they actually forget lol.

Play the game, go blow something up and or get blown up, it's a blast either way. Seems like you could mellow out if you did not take yourself so serious. Play the game dude, play the game!

I love how because I would like to see a chairman elected for the good of the CSM, rather than just someones ego, I must be an unhappy person.

I am not so unhappy as to be fighting for the sake of my own ego, unlike some. It is amazing that some people need a chairman to be from Null to validate their existence.

No it is our ego that needs the Chairman to be from your alliance not mine.
