If you don't think they are going to try to spin the 12.12% turn out, you are a fool.

Yeah, the company that had no problems at all picking the council themselves for Dust is going to forge votes to "spin" a lower-than-last-year vote turnout because you know what **** it I can't even finish that sentence you're literally ********.

We dropped down to 12.12%, the percentage of people who voted dropped 4 and a half percent, the first time it has dropped since the CSM became year long terms.

Why did they only mention the number of votes cast and not the percentage of eligible voters, like they have every other year in their dev blog.

The answer is spin control.

Well at least now I can say I have conversed with someone who would actually believe politicians who say, they will lower taxes, while increasing spending while not incurring a deficit.

People told me your kind exist, but I never believed them until now.Lol

CCP aren't politicians, not in any sense of the word. They're completely above and beyond the political process, namely because they could abolish it tomorrow if they so desired.

Were did that comment even come from?

No CCP are not politicians, they are a business, they are there to make money. Yes the CSM is a PR exercise both for the players benefit and externally. The PR value would be increase the more people that are involved in the process.

Subsequently why I would like the chairman chosen for the PR value for the CSM, rather than just someones ego.

The low turn out is thanks to a more complicated voting system that doesn't even accomplish anything they claim it does anyway.

hope this helps

Always nice to hear from people.

More people need to comment about why they did not vote, or what they did not like about the elections or the previous CSM.

Only through comments can problems be fixed.

I'd heard it was related to Veritas being out of the country. (Can't remember who I heard that from though)

Woo! CSM XI!
