Mordu's Legion is there now, true, but it took the threat of Caldari invasion for you lot to get your act together.

And if the Federation did work to protect Intaki? You'd all complain about Gallente meddling and interference. It's a slippery-slope that you've brought upon yourself.

You're actually quite close to making our case for us.

Don't you find it curious that the State advanced through Placid and into Verge Vendor, relentlessly and successfully taking system after system only to stop at the borders of the Intaki Syndicate in each system the border presented itself? In Orvolle, in Vestouve and closer to Intaki in Harroule they respected the Syndicate's border and didn't go any further.

No, the State's invasion of Placid, and Intaki in particular is because it is Federation space, regardless of how much autonomy exists between Assembly and Senate.

Were Intaki and her colonies to be fully independent of the Federation, free to explore more positive diplomatic relations with our exiled cousins than tolerated by the Federation at present, I doubt the State would have spared Viriette a second glance just as was the case with the Intaki Syndicate.

The Syndicate is the closest we have to freedom and self govenence. Now if CONCORD cared about us they'd keep the peace there.

I hope you're using the words 'freedom' and 'CONCORD' in the same sentence ironically.

Nope, it's noy like they actually do anything other than posture and attack people where they know they have back up and strength.

You confuse CONCORD with an organisation with infinite resources that can be everywhere at all times. Further more the Syndicate is politically neutral and offers as much of it's support openly to criminal elements as it does the Empires, it's outside of CONCORD's jurisdiction and the policies of the DED would directly clash with the Syndicate's.

When your gut instincts tell you something is wrong, trust them. When your heart tells you something is right, ignore it, check with your brain first. Accept nothing, challenge everything.

I'm sure! And more power to you. I wish you all the best out there in the black.
