Which one would that be? That we all speak the queens english and drink a lot of tea?

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

Okay for someone who isn't a Briton. What is a red rose and a white rose and why are you guys defending said roses?

:confused American: Oops

It's kind of like their version of "Union vs. Confederacy", man....

Only it happened a lot longer ago, and a lot more people got dead over it.

The War of the Roses no less.

It gave rise to the peculiar sub-species of Brit who wears a flat cap, breeds whippets, races pigeons, plays the tuba and eats black pudding in a crusty cob. By 'eck.

We shall join this channel and enjoy the companionship of one's compatriots.

We are not amused...

As a Long standing member of said Scottish channel, I shall pop in later bearing the Scottishness that the British channel is missing. I think. Not sure if any other scots are in there Cool

I shall be bringing the wide array of deep fried foods that we are known for, from fish and chips to haggis, mars bars and skittles and everything inbetween, fried to perfection, served on a tartan plate with a pint of whisky Big smile

I'm a midlander, so I don't speak anything resembling queens english.

I am NOT brummie, however.

any chance you could change the MOTD so we don't look like a bunch of jingoistic tools?

You know the ones, the guys with a picture of a Crusader as their Facebook picture, with an ambiguous message that suggests it is aimed at a very specific minority group?

Any chance there is a channel for the Canucks out there?

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

I've spent my fair share of time in that sandbox, too.... but all I get is this stupid raincloud that follows me, everywhere.
Maybe it's because I was an Artillery observer?

I say let the Canadians in. Theyre technically speaking the good child who always ate their veggies and did their homework. P

Until 2 weeks ago I was an officer in an armoured brigade... spent all my time calling targets. Much fun. Although civvy life takes some getting used to.

And my sandbox is a little bit to the west of where you were. Blink

Iraq and Afghanistan were where I was.
And, BTW.... the few times I got to directly work with Tommies, were quite a pleasure. Being a habitual anglophile since childhood, my buddies named me the interpreter, because I was the only one who was fluent in Brit-slang.
