As a Long standing member of said Scottish channel, I shall pop in later bearing the Scottishness that the British channel is missing. I think. Not sure if any other scots are in there Cool

I shall be bringing the wide array of deep fried foods that we are known for, from fish and chips to haggis, mars bars and skittles and everything inbetween, fried to perfection, served on a tartan plate with a pint of whisky Big smile

Until 2 weeks ago I was an officer in an armoured brigade... spent all my time calling targets. Much fun. Although civvy life takes some getting used to.

And my sandbox is a little bit to the west of where you were. Blink

Iraq and Afghanistan were where I was.
And, BTW.... the few times I got to directly work with Tommies, were quite a pleasure. Being a habitual anglophile since childhood, my buddies named me the interpreter, because I was the only one who was fluent in Brit-slang.
