What I liked most about Seagull's presentation was that her obvious passion and love for the game shone through every sentence.

"Just remember later that I warned against any change to jump ranges or fatigue. You earned whats coming."

Yeah, I like her vision for the future, it gave me hope for Eve. Unifex has set the groundwork, and now Seagull can expand on delivering the future of eve for us. Ambitious and goals set within a realistic framework. CCP are definitley going in the righ direction with Unifex and now Seagull it seems. Don't let Himlar near that door! :)

Let him near the door if it means actually adding something to the game.

But anyway, watching Seagull talk made me think that EVE is headed for greater things than ever before, and she really seems to know what she's doing. I think New Eden is in very capable hands.

The only thing I don't like about Seagull is her hair.

Yup, that's about it; I can't think of anything else.

After her excellent presentation and the positive reaction she earned... Well, it's OK to have a small amount of buyer's remorse. But only a small amount, mind you!

Now - back to the optimism mines with you! Lol
(you can mine optimism, can't you..?)

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

They're rare enough to be worth more than PLEX, I hear.

It will be, after the Oddessy nerf makes it a Nul-Only resource.

I also hear that 100 m^3 of optimism will cause you to not care about losing a full purple Tengu and a pod with all level 5 implants; you'll just shrug it off - I guess that's good for null.

I agree, delivering a presentation to a large audience while letting your passion shine through instead of your nervousness is difficult but CCP Seagull delivered.

I really enjoyed the presentations.

CCP Seagull seemed so excited about everything she was presenting, and the enthusiasm rubbed off on us all :)

She is and it is.

I also sent her a link to this thread full of nice people saying nice things.

Now that we happen to meet, may I ask what happened to the "Prototyping the Future" presentation, why it was not broadcasted and wether it was recorded and/or will be released at some point? Question

I even opened a thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2942352#post2942352

Hey, we're talking about CCP Seagull in here, get your desperation over space-barbie bullshit out of here.

CCP has no sense of humour.

Let me just state once and for all, the reason you heard her breathing was wrong placement of her microphone. The type of wireless that she, and others, were wearing, should have been put on and placed diffrently. Had I or any other with my knowledge assisted in this, the result would have been different. The correct placement of the type of microphone that was used, would be an inch away from the mouth towards the earlobe, not sagging below the chin or above and infront of the mouth/nose.

Basic error in mic placement have made the stage performance seem more nervous than intended. Cool
