Digital EVE collectors edition

There's a few things I'd like to have in the CE. Most of it digital. So, I wouldn't mind if CCP made available a cheaper version of the CE with just the digital goodies.

Not asking for a cheaper version.
Just asking for everyone to have equal chance of getting those.
CCP aren't doing worldwide shipping so I'm requesting a digital version.

Which part of 'not shipping worldwide' do you not understand?

A Digital CE has been done for many games, why not this one? I for one would just like that book on my ipad.

you guys do realize that everything you accomplish with this thread is to show CCP that microtransactions actually might be a good way to go...

wanting just the digital items and willing to pay just for them...

tbh just buy them with isk in eve and stop turning eve towards microtransactions... there are enough ppl who bought the CE and dont care about the digital items...

Microtransactions aren't inherently bad, its how you implement them.

When the digital collectors edition consists of different items I'm all in, other than that it will break the current idea of the pack, worldwide shipping or not - it's not a collectors edition anymore when parts of it are available separably and I'll stand by that (and yes, I'm living in a country where we don't get lots of similar stuff due to shipping restrictions)
Also there are ways to get around shipping restrictions by using a proxy ;)

The Digital EVE Collector's Edition should not emulate the original Collector's Edition.

The pod should come in SILVER, not GOLD.

Unless CCP does worldwide shipping for the collectors edition, which means everyone has an equal chance of getting one of those (yes they are limited), then no.

Why would they need a prefix, they live in the same namespace as regular EVE pilots on TQ so they would just show up as normal, as pointed out its probably more to do with them not having a proper account on TQ as all accounts are handled via PSN and all sorts of voodoo is involved, all hail sony :P
