I'd like to see Edward James Olmos flying a fleet into the sun, just like in BSG..

Nah, they work fine for Firefly but any kind of EVE show would just feel strange with them, especially together.

I'm also wondering if they'll try to remove known accents, it'd be weird to hear an American (or any other) accent in a show that's set 20,000 years in the future.. though it hasn't really been an issue for any other TV show.

EVE is perfect for them, we have everything that was in that show from mad cannibals to cows on spaceships.

Not to mention, many of them are on other shows now so would not be available.
