You really think POCOs in low sec will stand? MAYBE if you get some big RMT allainces to support you other than that they are gna be fraged for fun.

You really think someones gona let people use a POCO for taxes your math skills suck.... It would take YEARS for that to pay off even at 100% tax rate IF anyone survived going to said POCO and not getting ganked on site buy lowsec pies... SHESH eve player iqs have serverly dropped}

If anything, it's factions within CCP that seem to think that these things have a chance. I think they've forgotten that Eve is Dystopia, not Utopia, but time will tell.

Myself, I've already planned to rework my entire network so that none of my low-sec planets need a POCO. What I loose in capacity, I’ll more ""

Yes me too. I am also reading the main thread CCP put up. Its basicly over run wih Big RMTER types from 0.0 allainces wh love the idea of more cash for them

All your posting just shows you've never ever lived in lowsec. The number of posses that get shot (even small ones) is marginal. I have lived in lowsec for now about 2 years. In all those times i've never seen a pirate grp that has been systematicly reinforcing towers on a larger scale, not to mention entities like the large 0.0 alliances. For a very simple reason: a static blob attracts a bigger fish. For the bigger fish however its not attractive to kill small structures simply because they don't gain anything from it. Granted, killing a CO will be easier than a small pos due to the lack of defenses. But then again even a small pos represents way more value than a co, especially if it is used for industrial purposes.

My main concern is about the potential price hike for PI products and its derivatives, simply cause there are so many people who just believe in those doomsayers and because some people might shy away from the initial investment. Then again, as soon as you're in a small corp, sharing the cost it becomes viable and if you chose your location wisely you might actually make some cash from people who come from highsec for their PI needs.

well i hate to say it, but most pi is done by single ppl who have 2 or more accounts, have an army of alts that for example are skilled up for pi and transport ships to do lowsec pi, maybe organised in an corp that has only 1 real person in it.
for those things will get complicated, and ccp has forgotten how this eve community works.
yeah if you want so call me another doomsayer, but truth is that pi is nothing acceptable for fun and pew pew addicted pvp eve players, so those smaller group of single individuals running several accounts and using every char slot to make pi chars are those who keep up the stream of pi products, and tbh already the switch from those goods from npc to pi already had an price raise coming with it. if now the number of those pi running ppl gets reduced because of the secind pi nerf that is now announced with player custom offices, then we get in real trouble. and why ? as i already said its the second pi nerf, the first one was coming with the introduction of the ecu, and its the resource depletion that are taking place on all planets in eve, that already reduces the number of players per planet that can do pi on it, and with the player custom office that number gets reduced far more, and its a new conflict igniter that ccp wants to place in eve.
sadly it will come whatever we say or do, ccp had to throw out staff members and now they want to squeeze out more cash out of this community. i am very sad about this, i play eve since 2005, and now i really think it could happen that ccp takes the wrong turn and **** off the eve community once more.

your talking about attacking pos which can have weapons,

as far as i am aware these structures have no weapons and rely upon a fleet to defend them, completely differant.

there is no danger attacking a small corps structure if they obviously cannot field a fleet to defend it

You can always tell some one who has never been in low sec telling someone else no ones going to attack a destructable undefended structure.

Sure and pies inlow sec will set up POCOs just to get taxes too right... You really are a idiot as well as a Noob.
