Small changes and some big changes "todo" list

I will not clutter the forums by making multiple posts, where possible. As such, I will UPDATE this post with more changes from now on.

  • Contracts

    • I hate scamming but I dont think it should be taken out of the game; its like its suppse to be, coming to down to the decision, common sense or not, of the player. However, there is one type of contracts that dont make any sense and should be caught by the system mechanics. When I make a contract to sell something that CANT be fitted or different from the next, I shouldnt be able to request the same thing I'm selling.

    To be eliminated should be contracts where people try to sell a plex for a plex, and money. However, it should be achieved while preserving the ability to still scam, through other CHALLENGING types of contracts, allthewhile preserving the ability to sell one fitted ship for another fitted ship of the exact same ship, just trading fittings.

  • People and places

    • PLEASE put back the ability to search for a corp AND alliance by ticker, including partial tickers, even though where before we could only search for corp ticker, not alliance ticker. Heck, just put an option for "tickers" and show results for both corps and alliance

  • When we dont have skills to fly a ship, let us buy it and fit it in station but not undock with it :)

    • This is a GREAT improvement everyone wants because it will allow traders to sell fitted ships and it will allow people to tweak their dps before actually training for the ship hull.

    I'm sitting here with 30 minutes left on a skill, wanting to undock with ship and go having it already fitted, but cant.

    • Last I knew Eft was not compatible with braille where directx is, until people with no consideration get their ideas in the game. When incarna came out, the ability for using accessibility features of any operating system stopped working, until I ranted at CCP in bug reports. It was because people complained that the keyboard AND mouse worked and they would accidentally hit things, without thinking why someone would want to use only the keyboard.

    I think what you mean is changing it so you cant actually buy and sell the EXACT SAME ITEM. Is that what you are saying?

    And you should not be tweaking dps in game. EFT it. Making the PG/CPU go red in EFT is a free learning experience. In game those mistakes cost you isk if you can't sell it for what you bought later. The funny thing abouts fits, sometimes people forget to mention little details. Like it needs core elite fitting, they had a rig skill to 4/5 you don't have yet, or PG 3% implant....or all the above for more exotic fits.
