Quite possibly bad ideas, but Im wondering what the general opinions are ?

For one I wouldn't mind sucking out skillpoints in fields I scarcely use anymore to be spent in other existing ones I use more often and more according to my current playstyle.

The possibility of trading skillpoints for isk to new players also, making it less daunting for them to have to grind isk for months to afford good characters, or players looking for a boost to reach that "Advanced weapons upgrade" skill to 5 in less time, for example, but all at the cost of isk of course, sounds appealing to anyone ?

Of course yea, I can just buy readymade characters, but im more talking about smaller and short-term gradual investments to characters.

This has come up a number of times in the past. Here is the most recent; it'll give you an idea of the general opinions.

Just invest some patience and you will be fine.

Remove standings and insurance.

The new players need the time to get the experience anyway.

And new players are not supposed to save up ISK to buy high SP characters. They're supposed to use it on their current character and get some actual game experience.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.
