Well done to who ever did this.

All you have done is make the CSM even less effective then it already is by breaking the trust between the CSM and CCP.

As for what the Skype log contains I will leave it to other people as I am sure many people have already read it.

Hmm... Let me guess: It contains nothing of real consequence?

Doesn't matter if the content is 'nothing special' - the *trust* is special. Break that, and the CSM will vanish.

Which kinda re-enforces the OP's position.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Hmm... It’s an interesting read. All kinds of little details there. Particularly the senior developer caught cheating and that other deal with player messages being intercepted. I am curious who would leak this and what their actual aims are. Doesn’t seem the kind of thing and these kind of details to be done randomly.

Shitstorm ahead. The fallout from this will probably be more interesting than the actual logs.

I'm more curious about the legal ramifications of the NDA breach.

Thanks, I'm now wasting time at work searching for this.

CCP has no sense of humour.

I'll probably be banned for this...
...but I think I might know who's behind it.

LOL. Sure, you could say it was done by an attention seeking moron. But EVE's metagame is so big that I wouldn't put it past a troll with a point. I am not sure what this really means for the CSM and it reaches up the food chain some.

This thread will, and probably should be locked. Not because I like the lockdown of information, but so short before fanfest, it's simply major spoilers that I would rather get from a proper presentation in two days times anyway. Post-fanfest, the logs should be open discussion, just because they are now out there.

On the contents of the leak: I am not going to spoil surprises planned for fanfest, but the logs DO contain some (very) interesting nuggets and I like quite a bit of what I am reading. Big smile

On the topic of the leak itself: Sad Sad for the next CSM, though CCP probably always knew sth like that could happen. I hope they don't clamp up and continue open discussion with the next CSM.

First time the logs were leaked to the general public anyway.

CSM should be dissolved and CCP needs to find an alternative PR stunt.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.

One thing reading the logs really does: Clear up a lot of the FUD about the CSM. If you are that negative, give it a read. If you are actually honest, and not just trolling, you'll get a more nuanced view of what they are - sometimes - doing. What I am reading ... CSM is a good institution and deserves to be a part of the developer-player interaction.

Some of us were actually here when the CSM got created and know why it was created and the difference between what was promised and what we got.

My statement stands, and I'm definitely not gonna have enough popcorn for this latest CCP dramabomb.

So let me get this straight. In a game that CCP fully endorse metagaming, scamming, skulldiggery - your complaining about somebody doing that. Hmmm

CCP, CSM got metagamed simple as.. Eve is harsh, cruel world eh....

Covert attempts by Hilmar to discredit the CSM and dissolve it. Obviously. Don't you guys even know how to /connect-the-dots ?
