This will be the first ever combined EVE Online and DUST 514 tournament, where teams of 5 EVE pilots and 16 DUST mercs team up for dominance on the battlefield!

Here are the rules specific to this tournament. Please note that these rules are subject to alterations if the need arises.

DUST Rules
  • Normal rules of skirmish apply, the first to destroy the MCC or deplete the enemy clones wins the battle.
  • Players may create new fittings using any of the items provided in their inventory.
  • The tournament battle will appear in the mercenary tab and can be joined as soon as it is ready.
  • Captured strikes from the EVE satellite will be available to all squad leaders but you need EVE ships to fulfill the strike requests. All squad leaders will get the strike but it will be consumed by the first to spend it.
  • Precision war barge strikes will be available but only when earned through war point gain and while there is no EVE orbital strike available. Earning an EVE orbital strike will override any strikes earned through war points.
  • Friendly fire will be enabled.
  • Repeat team killing / reviving or similar war point farming is not allowed and will disqualify your team.

  • EVE Rules
  • Teams will each be given a set list of ships and modules in their corporation hangar which they can use for fitting. No items outside of the ones provided are allowed to be used during the tournament.
  • Players will start docked in station and must remain docked until the war room time has elapsed. This will be indicated by GMs giving the word in local chat.
  • Combat starts as soon as players undock.
  • You may dock / undock / leave the grid at any time but all players must remain in system. Leaving the system will disqualify you from the tournament.
  • Players may change or refit their ships at any time by flying back to the station.
  • If your ship is destroyed you may fly back to the station and reship.
  • Podding and warp scrambling or otherwise disrupting pods is strictly not allowed.
  • A satellite will be visible from the undock of the station which is the capture point for the tournament. The satellite can be captured by having exclusive control of the space 10km around it for 30 seconds while connected to the district. Once captured the team who captured it will have an Orbital Bombardment available to them while it remains captured. Any squad leader in DUST may call in the strike. A captured satellite will return to neutral if the other side can hold exclusive control of the space around it for 30 seconds and will capture it themselves by holding it for an additional 30 seconds. Firing an orbital bombardment resets the satellite to neutral.

  • Rules regarding players and player behavior should all be considered the same as for the EVE Online Fanfest 2013 Charity Tournament, found here.

The referee on site at the tournament will have the final judgement call on all potential matters.

Feel free to ask questions under the FAQ thread here.
