Im looking at making a few trade characters, mostly for myself but possibly to sell off one or 2 in the character bazaar...

I was looking at training up the following Skills:

Accounting 5
Broker Relations 5
Daytrading 5
Margin Trading 5
Marketing 5
Procurement 5
Retail 5
Trade 5
Tycoon 4
Visibility 5
Wholesale 5

Assuming for a minute that my goal to sell and that Ill work up the standings slightly... say to 5 or so. Would that skill list suffice for the average trading character that people are looking for, or do I have some skills that are unneeded... such as procurement, wasn't sure if I needed that at all. Also if there are any obvious skills Im lacking please let me know.

Thanks.

if you're purely going to station trade there's no need for an industrial or many of the range skills like procurement etc.

Those range skills are only useful if you plan on cross region market manipulation and even then 3-4 is enough.

Sometimes there is more profit if you buy an item in 1 region and sell it in another region.
I would think a hauler of some sort is a good investment.

Looks ok to me, I would do the same and leave Tycoon at IV.

However, you should add Contracting to V and probably Corporate Contracting IV or V as well.

The Hauler would be useful, T2 hauler even better, racial Freighter V if you can as well, it all adds value but Freighter V is going to add a month or two so maybe not.

Having high standings would really make the character shine although you don't need more standings unless you are planning on high frequency high volume low margin trading. Have a look on the Evelopedia for DeMichael's Faction Standing Repair Plan for tips on optimising the faction grind.

Personally, I'd add Informorph Psychology V as well if you are selling the character as the buyer can join Estels corp and create some jump clones, always handy for fast travel when the occasion demands it.

Cybernetics V would be useful or just get it to III or whatever the minimum is for +4 learning implants.
